My Collection Update
IntellivisionDude replied to IntellivisionDude's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
It's been a while, but here is where i am at now with my collection. This is what i'm missing. * Blockade Runner (Missing 1 Overlay) * Championship Tennis (Missing Box & Overlays) * Congo Bongo (Missing Box & Instruction Manual) * Fathom (Missing Box, Manual & Overlays) * Happy Trails (Missing Instruction Manual) * Learning Fun I (Missing Box & Instruction Manual) * Learning Fun II (Missing Box & Instruction Manual) * Nova Blast (Missing Box, Manual & Overlays) * Spiker! Super Pro Volleyball (Missing Everything) * Stadium Mud Buggies (Missing Box & Instruction Manual) * Swords & Serpents (Missing 1 Overlay) * The Jetson's Way With Words (Missing Box, Manual & Overlays) * Triple Challenge (Missing Box) * World Cup Soccer (Missing Box) * Zaxxon (Missing Box & Instruction Manual) I must be honest, i have put Intellivision collecting on the back burner for the most part. I have not stopped completely. But slowed down quite a bit. I mean i could get a complete Nova Blast just about anytime i want since it's like a $15-20 game. Lately i spend too much money on Homebrews, Trading Cards, Crazy Climber signs, and tons and tons of non Intellivision games and memorabilia. Truth be told, if i was to add up all that i have spent on all the extra stuff i bought in the last year i probably could have a complete collection right now. It's a shame i love too many games on too many systems. | -
So there is an Arcade game called Dungeon & Dragons Tower of Doom released 6-7 years after Intellivision Tower of Doom which was going to be part of AD&D. Interesting. I know know nothing about the AD&D board game and culture so this could be more than a coincidence. But still cool.

I think it is obvious i voted for Kroz. It is my new favorite Intellivision game and i'm completely obsessed with it.

Too bad the website at the top is no more. Another defunct website.

Intellivision Ebay Roundup
IntellivisionDude replied to IntellivisionDude's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
Ah, i see you are correct. I was mistaking one of his auction pictures for one of Robotkingnes. After looking again i see i was wrong. I sure hope he isn't buying up all the Jetson's. That is a game i still don't have complete. I could not afford it when it was just a $100 complete game. Now it's looking bleaker. I remember Voltron would say how rare he thought it was since it rarely shows up. -
Intellivision Ebay Roundup

Oh that guy. I recognize those pictures. He is the Odyssey horder. There has been plenty of stories of him over the years. But he changed his name. It was robotkingnes before. http://www.ebay.com/sch/Video-Games-Consoles-/1249/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=&_ssn=happiestsellerever%21&_sop=16 -
[SPOILERS] The Lost Caves of Kroz Hint Thread
IntellivisionDude replied to intvsteve's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
Actually someone else told me about going through the eyes on the fire skull. I did it the hard way going through his mouth the first time i played it. lol I am definitely looking forward to the sequels. The puzzles if what i like the most. But fighting is cool too. I hope someday you do post solutions. There a few rooms i would to know the proper solution vs my solution. Looks like i need to do some more searching for secrets. -
Congrats

One thing you learned after joining atariage
IntellivisionDude replied to Manoau2002's topic in Classic Console Discussion
I have learned way way too many things to remember. But of course the main thing i learned was there an actual Intellivision community and i was not alone. I literally joined 11 days before the Intellivision sub section was added. Talk about perfect timing. I have learned a ton of non Intellivision stuff as well. I'm not as biased and some people think i am. lol -
I know i'm bumping this 4 days early. but this topic marks the 5 year anniversary of this section being started. Knowing my luck i'll forget to bump this in 4 days. lol Unrelated and Related picture.

Best Home Version of Ms. Pac-Man?
IntellivisionDude replied to VectorGamer's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Since i have not received my Intellivision version yet i can't truly compare yet. But my all time favorite so far is the 7800 version. I love how fast it is right off the bat. Most others don't get fast until later. I recently got the Pac-Man collection for the 7800 but my power supply went bad so i hadn't had a chance to play it yet. But luckily i just got a new adapter finally like a week ago and need to pop this is in finally. I have not tried many versions yet, 2600, 7800, Genesis, and any of the many Namco collections. Would like to get the Nes Tengen version eventually. I did not have money the last time the Colecovision version was for sale. Wonder if that will ever be released again? -

Intellivision Autograph Book
IntellivisionDude replied to IntellivisionDude's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
So i wonder where this is now? You still got it ghsqb? -
Well i guess i decided to pass of the Sealed Snes Sports Games. $75 to ship them overnight (and will not ship them any other way) is not what i had in mind. If this was the marketplace section than i wouldn't have so much of an issue with it, i just would decline and move on. But this is the free section. I feel like this goes against the nature of the word Free. After reading the stories of other members above i see he likes to waste peoples time. If you are gonna charge that much to ship them i think they should be put in the marketplace and not here. Just my opinion. Anybody else agree? Okay i'm done and moving on

The USPS is always way behind this time of year. A few packages make it to where their destinations on time but so many do not. My mother mailed something to me on Monday the 15th using Priority and i got it Friday 19th. Could of been worse i guess. But normally i would of got something in just 2 days from just 3 states away. Also "on route to destination." is not the same thing as "out for delivery" I see this on packages i get all the time and it will still be a few days before delivered. That's what i call one of those false hope tracking update codes the USPS uses.
