  1. TBH I would leave him in peace. Him having sold everything, relocating to India, not replying on (non-gaming-related) social sites... speaks for itself. Sad for the Lynx scene, I agree. He has made a complete cut, whichever reason(s) he might have. Some people give up a long-time hobby like that, never to be heard from again, both in RL and on the internet. I´d just respect his decision. it´s only unfortunate for rygar
  2. If this is his FB, it says he lives in India now. So he has pulled the plug, so to say...
  3. 7300 mAh, how long would they last, mathematically? 12-15 hours?
  4. Oh good I´m afraid he simply got too much of the EOTB hassles, the related PM flood etc. Sometimes people simply lose their login details (and never think of the password recovery function that every forum has I think). Happened to the Atari Lynx Lover. Well at least he said so. I hope Eric comes back. I enjoyed reading his reports, seeing new screenshots, and the alternative versions of Lynx games he has found and shared are priceless.
  5. I remember that gimmick so well only because it made me look up "Conway´s Game of Life" I had nevert heard at all about this til then myself In the same manner I´m looking up "your" Game of Life in Wikipedia right now - never had an idea that it is that old. And I KNEW wages were lower in the 80ies lol
  6. Didn´t you know this^^ then, 108Stars?
  7. As bad as I feel resurrecting an almost 10 year old topic (!!!) : THIS was the Google hit number one, and it is down again, has been since at least yeasterday
  8. It´s sometimes just a matter of time. I got some rare carts like Battlezone or Lemmings affordably (and spent the more on homebrows lol) because "time is money": You invest time to look and watch because you can save money on a bargain when it comes or when you meet a colelctor who changes his field of interest or swaps dublets with you, or you save time using Buy Now only. I guess it´s the same with everything collectable. Time is money. I´d say it will come along. Have you made a topic in the AA marketplace?
  9. Wow, great, you STILL find new things
  10. Yes, it works on the GP2X emulator. Thank you again WIll try it on the flashcart later. I know Baseball Heroes is not a rare game, there is no reason not to buy it, and ultimately I will, but it was the only "old" one not on AtariAge so righ tnow it comes as absolutely new to me
  11. I guess it was blastered on the road. Or he roadblastered with bis BMX over it. It reminds me of this one famous picture of the totally burnt original Gameboy, which is in a museum now and "still working". Maybe Dirty Larry or Ninja Gaiden used it in lieu of a bicycle chain to horror some suibway clowns or even GB fanboys away?
  12. I cannot make up my mind between "Justin Bieber Tetris" and "My Little Pony".
  13. Looks good - better than my solution (empty Ferrero Rocher praline plastic boxes, which I use just for everything because of the fitting size for Lynx, GG, GB and PSP). What are these cases actually supposed to keep?
  14. Good work I had a similar thing, too, where I obviously met the 50k-limit of one forum post (it was a tutorial with some screenshots) so I also had to break it down like book chapters.
  15. Would be great if you shared the baseball heroes one. I´m not per se a baseball enthusiast but this is the only commercial early 90ies Lynx issue that´s not on AA. Hmm, there is also an alternative version of Super Asteroids/Missile Command but FWIK only a few carts (10 or so) were home-made from this last year. Striclty speaking, I think it was the Asteroids on it that was different than the commercial issue. There is a topic her esomewhere about it, from last year, wiht screenshots IIRC.
  16. It runs fine on the Dingoo and GP2X-emulators. Can you please add at least some bleep sound effects as the VCS-Adventure has? I played for about 15 minutes last night but get lost all the time
  17. No, the AA-topic-link to the Zaku demo ROM was downloadable today at CET noon
  18. Wow - I know how I will spend this evening thanks!
  19. Sure Here they are: - True, I cannot find the demo level myself any more on the zaku-lynx site but here it is at the 2005 AA link: http://www.atariage....ynx-with-demos/ - The card game is here on the original developer´s site in Japanese: http://d.hatena.ne.jp/EXCEED/20050703 Hope this helps
  20. Sorry about the length of my list but the more I looked, the more I remembered - Here http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/195704-motivated-pixel-artist-game-designer/ are several versions of obchan´s 3D 1 level game. - http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/194940-hicolor-slideshow-builder-tool-from-sage/ Here is Matashen´s slideshow IIRC You might want to PM Matashen yourself for the Lynxopoly demo, if he wants to give it out. All the rest I think is publically available, just needs some more research here...
  21. Do you have the two alternative versions of RoadRiot4WD that EricdeLee posted about half a year ago? Also the alternative version of Malibu Bikini Volleyball? EDIT Here: http://www.atariage....-and-road-riot/ Alt. versions of RR4WD and MBV in first post; second alt. version of RR4WD scroll down there a bit - Matashen posted a s slideshow ROM of pics from his holiday in Japan using the Sage high color tool. Do you need this for the blog, too? It is here somewhere... - Do you have the "Lynxopoly" demo that is on the Lynxman FlashCart, i.e. on the handbook CD that comes with it? - Do you have the soundless one level only "Zaku"-demo (still?) downloadable from the SuperFighterTeam´s Zaku website? - Do you have the two versions (one 256, one 512 kb) of the Manga-art-like "Poker" game? (I found the Rom on the website of the Japanese programmer but the game is also part of the SOngbird MegaPack-cartridge). - Do you have obshan´s really cool 1 level 3D-demo? (it has no other title). It is posted here but well hidden in a "Need graphics help"-like topic. - Maybe this is also a good opportunity to ask: Does anyone have a WORKING rom of "Baseball Heroes"?
  22. The Hot Dog prototype game, I think programmed by the same guys as Fat Bobby, has indeed a similar "god mode" feature. Would be interesting to know if you really have something to us new there, i.e. a similar evaluation version, it seems so, I cannot remember this from the normal Fat Bobby game
  23. I´m so sorry to hear that. No "reward" Even if I almost always fall into the water at that platform jump in front of the lakes, I always find myself whistling along the "You are dead!" music.
