  1. So sorry to see this happen. And egoistically, I am relieved that I have never seen this topic tiil now and purely by chance, and not last year - I have loved Ature from the first alpha version, was one of the first who commented on it on the Homebrew Discussion forum in 2010, was disappointed that only 15 (?) carts had been made of it for sale at the Expo only, unreachable for me, handdrawn label, and which were sold out at once, none left for me. I would definitely have pre-ordered one cart here, had I known about this thread. How could it have ended so sadly like this? :( Damn, life can be a sh1t at times :(

  2. Yes, I didn´t mean to turn it down. :)

[Regarding Desert Strike, personally I believe I would not pay more than 30 for any "old" Lynx release (non-homebrew). Desert Strike is indeed my final old release I´d like to have - but not for 50 pounds unboxed buy now prices....]

But I understand, if you have looked for years for something like the CGE 5th one, or P.I.T.S., then die-hard fans are happy about ANY opportunity :)

400 is still "understandable" and there are definitely people in the world for whom this is "reasonable".

(even if I personally never would have bought it even back then when it was new, it is nothing groundbrealing like Cybervirus , for exampole, it is a slideshow), and it gives us something to talk about: The Lynx´ Kizuna Encounters or Air Raid :)

Now I find it just interesting to watch and to see how much the most expensive Lynx cart will be and if it will be this one :)

So, good luck on the auction :)

  3. Hi :)

With the exception of Football, all are rare to be found second-hand and need to be bought from Telegames the producer themselves who still have their shop/ site, or from "professional dealers".

[Krazy Ace is an afterlife-release (the game was also not quite finished).]

They are rare since neither one appears to have sold in big quantities. Basically, you can almost never get them used. So they are worth the normal store price - around 40 Euro each.

  4. Hi, I have never played beyond level 4 yet so there may be more to come what things collected now are useful for later etc, also mMy memory might fail me, it was autumn 1 year ago that I seriously played it (even printed out the dungeon maps) but a few points are:

The daggers can be used for throwing and laying on the ground to keep platforms open or to throw them on the ground as "remote opener". Someone has said you can put them into holes in the wall to get other stuff done but this has never worked for me...

Since so far there is way more then enough space in my team´s pockets left I have always picked up anything :)

Spells are done by "pray" and then you need to REST the party. They seem to learn in their sleep :)

This part is indeed addressed in the manual IIRC.

The belt slots etc., I cannot tell. I have only ever used them as normal inventory. Important is that the left and right HANDS and armour are well equipped; the weak guys I just let throw stones and daggars.

  5. @ GadgetUK, I thought you didn´t want to say any more to this surely ungrateful side-topic ;) :D what´s so hard in accepting that "Big names must defend their brands and would easily see themselves forced to forbid hobbyists to do hommages when they use their copyrighted names and characters."? :) Stupider laws have been made...

  6. I like your screenshot idea, Ninjabba :)

Forums is humans. Maybe knitting forums also have an exclusive importeur of long-thought lost wool disappeared, and the master knitters and chopper commanders all wonder what happened, and a dedicated silk-enthusiast banned for talking too much about silk then starts a silkophile board where the word "wool" is banned by word filters
