Oh and Alan didn't actually have a problem with Frenzy being ported to another platform (though some money or at least asking first would have been nice); he had a problem with the homebrewer claiming it was "his" creation and threatening legal actions against others due to what amounted to other people pirating his piracy.0

Someone was working on an NES version in the late 90's as I recall. The guy threw a spazz when his rom leaked over IRC, threatened legal action, said he deserved money for sales only and the ROM should not be given out blah blah blah. Turns out the one who leaked the early rom was Alan McNeill (or at least he claims he leaked it) and invited the young man to follow through with his supposed lawsuit. He said he'd love to exchange lawyer information with the homebrewer, as his OWN lawyers would be interested in the guy's motivations for believing he had the legal right to sell Frenzy, which Alan was the sole creator of and still owns partial rights to.

Oh and for me it's Thunder Castle. It's everything that's wrong with games today, only it came out decades ago: Looks and sounds beautiful, tedious and shallow in play.

Apparently emulation is okay. Does Intellivision Lives on the 3DS count for the HSC?
- unfortunately no, as it does not do a direct emulation of the title.

Maybe I suck at estimating value, but I'd say the games you got on the first one are worth the price paid for the lot.

@Zoyx I agree that after you kind of figure it out, its too easy - at least you are still getting some value out of it 28yrs later.
Too easy. For me this game's just "Do I want to spend 90 minutes flipping the score?" People play this with me and ask me to stop after a while.

That's an awesome tool! You can go to Dell's website, make a computer with the exact same hardware specs, and it costs less than half the price. Now whenever anyone talks about what an amazing deal Apples are, I can use Apple's own website to disprove them.
Never mind buying the raw components and just putting them together yourself.
