fwiw, I understand that joy2key works wonders for those games that dont recognize the wireless controllers.
Without analog, what's the point?
-
Also a great idea. I just can't get my crappy 3rd party 360 Controller receiver to work on my PC. It might just be time to buy a wired one.
Most PC games only recognize the wired one anyway. I still can't fathom why the 360 and PS3 came with wireless controllers.

I use nostalgia and a 360 controller
and... hi! back finally for good. posting from 3ds

File a complaint with Amazon, even include the threat. People like that need to be kicked off of the service.

I got similarly scammed a few years back on an Ewok Adventure repro cart. I managed to get it worked out (sent him his inoperable crap back and filed a dispute the same instant). but ever since then I always check feedback.
I also think it's funny, people got all bent out of shape about me instantly filing the dispute. To be frank, only an idiot doesn't immediately train the big guns on their problem. People who don't are the ones you hear saying things like "And he strung me along promising to send the item until after the dispute period was over. so now I'm out the money!"

I have had a question regarding buying the D1K Arcade Rom if one has already purchased the cartridge.
After some thought, I have decided to give out a 50 percent coupon for use in purchasing an Elektronite Cartridge.
So, the rom will be $15........you will get a $7.50 discount coupon toward the purchase of an Elektronite cartridge.
Please make a note in your email that you have previously purchased the cartridge.
I'm in. I want the rom. Email you, right?

Good work. I have a loose cart and want to love the game, but without the map... it's difficult.

That's sure better than I've ever done.

I'm a 360 fan, hate the wiimote and just picked up a PS3 a couple months ago and love Killzone, and Gran Turismo... But that's about it, good thing I didn't pay much for it
And btw, you are absolutely right on with the wii being great for emulators, but it always come back to the wiimote for me...

...so don't use one. Most games work just fine with a Classic Controller/Classic Controller Pro.

Gonna have to get me a new design. I'm keeping my Christmas one, but within a coupla hours here there's gonna be a new member coming into this world. Sitting at the hospital, just waiting, found out I have internet. Wee haw.

The NES game, The Last Starfighter, however, was awful.
It was a straight across port of Uridium, save for changing the player's ship sprite. Dumb.

Investigating? Investigating what, exactly? I'm a licensed FRA and can find people/things out about people pretty easily. Never got my PI license because it's spendy...

Rev sent me a box of these pencils before. I like them too much to use them!

Star Wars for me, and obviously Inty. Being married to a Star Wars fan helps. Though she doesn't see one thing that I do: she hates Clone Wars, I hated the prequels. She was born in 1987 I was born in 1977.
It has to do with "new" Star wars "screwing up" the canon you're familiar with in your youth. Once I accepted it was just a possessive thing, I started to enjoy Clone Wars. She still doesn't. I now enjoy the prequels more, especially Revenge of the Sith. I still think Episode One is dogshit, though.

i use them to help others. townparkradio got a few from me and i just gave a newcomer the sweetest deal on a system with ecs, intellivoice and 73 games. i could never throw out a retro game. (or any other game for that matter)
If I can ever get my hands on that baseball game I so want an ECS. Lol.
-
Well, I give doubles to anyone who asks for them... but the one tihng i make sure does not happen is that they go into the trash, and I make those I give games to promise they will not throw them out. I'm a bit militant on this issue.

I can't imagine that I'm the only one who ended up with a lot of extra common carts while completing my collection. I felt bad about it, but some years ago I ended up throwing out something like 100 common carts because it just wasn't worth the effort of listing and trying to sell them on ebay.
So what's the "right" thing to do? Is there anyone in the homebrew community that needs shells to make new carts? Is anyone collecting a stash of cart shells that would want our cast-offs?
I keep them. They're not making any more of these games. Even "commons" are extremely rare.

This is now a Spider-Man thread.

And agian, this weeks show is on!

I love it when someone tells me they need the sports games, or Astrosmash. I literally smile when I see that someone needs some common games, because it means I can clean out some space! (For verrrry reasonable prices I might add.)
Why don't I just turn this into a sales thread for Cmart Inc while I'm at it.
I still need the sports games that paly single player and don't give a crap about boxes.
