  1. Just gave Astro-Creeps a go and what a wonderful game.. can't wait to try the others. Just a quick question, is there a way to play with just the keyboard rather than the mouse? I'm more of a keyboard guy
  2. hey hey! I found the thing.. On a whim I decided to check the little plastic case that houses my Nomad, adapter and a few games up in my closet, and sure enough there's the battery pack. It doesn't look like it's even been used.. PM where you want it sent.. I'll try to get it out this week from work.
  3. I think I have an extra one.. let me double check Mine came with the rechargeable battery which surprisingly still works, with 2 of the AA battery packs.. if i can find them in the basement they're yours.. I'm obviously not using them.
  4. I have that jacket and the blue one and let me tell you that if your 190 pounds and bigger you might as well forget it. I guess Xlarge in mens size back in the 80's was for men around 180 pounds and less. I'm 238 and have no chance of even getting one of my arms in the silver Atari jacket i have. I fit that criteria of being less than 180.. care to sell the silver one? I'd certainly wear it, if only to embarrass the kids
  5. oh man.. that is one sharp jacket there - good luck in getting one.
  6. Play the Ninja BlackSox team in Baseball Stars
  7. NES yeah.. never have seen that one.. was there an injury by chance?
  8. Funspot is truly a magical place.. went up for the first time last year for the International Classic + Pinball Tourney and had a blast.. going up again the end of May..

Well yeah with that Missile Command steroid use scandal from the last Olympics, I'm inclined to agree. You know damn well both participants were cleared of any wrong-doing by the USVGDC(US Video Game Doping Committee)

Although both great games, Missile Command and Armor Ambush don't seem to quite fit, in my mind.. good luck with the game!
  11. From the video - looks a lot like Soldat, which was a great little game Is there any other way to play it other than Facebook?
  12. Yeah, being a forum spelling nazi is dicey business at best - let this be a warning to all you kids
  13. Doesn't that fall into the "continue game" with another quarter department? I think your best score should be all the points you can get on one quarter, when the game is not in continue mode.. When you start at the higher level, you get the bonus points plus a chance at an extra man, if you play it right..
  14. and that's why every house should have a Wii and a 360
  15. Has to be Video Chess game #7, which supposedly takes the computer 10 hours per move..
  16. Both modern and classic scratch a different gaming itch, but I can certainly respect the 2D vs 3D thoughts. For instance, I really don't enjoy 3D sports games all that much, preferring 2D much, much more, but having an absolute blast in multi-player Halo 3, which is of course 3D.
  17. Holey crap you are the only other person I know of on these chats that has any idea what Granite Run mall is LOL. I would totally agree it was the best Aladdin's Castle of all times LOL. That was basically the only arcade I ever really went to and the one that started me collecting arcade games just trying to recreate a small fraction of what that place was like is nearly impossible but I'm still trying. Wouldn't happen to have any pictures of the place? I have been trying to locate a few snapshots of that arcade for a while now. I think I might have one or 2 but I have no Idea were they got to. I have to say I was heart broken once they closed their doors I really have no Idea exactly when it happened. I totally avoid the mall altogether, for fear of ruining the fond memories there. I drive past maybe once a year and just look, smile then keep driving by. I haven't seen anything on the GRMall's Aladdin's Castle, but if you remember Spaceport in the K.O.P. Mall, there's a few videos from back in the day on youtube. Also, if you get up to Reading at all, there's a neat little arcade in the Berkshire Mall - lots of classics there!
