  1. ... he's talking about SF1. and SF2..
  2. Oddly enough, Zelda has become quite available around these parts. In fact, I was at Circuit City 2 days ago looking for the Wii HD component cables, and they had at least 5 in stock on the shelves.
  3. I have a SF2 PCB sitting in the basement with Marvel Super Heroes getting most of the play sitting in its place. I just don't see the appeal of SF2..
  4. Hmm never thought about that - my laptop picks up my neighbors signal and sometimes it's stronger in the other side of the house than my own.. I wonder which one the Wii is using?
  5. I think it would really shine, if/when you can play those games versus others over the internet. Hopefully a steady stream of quality games can hold me until then..
  6. I have what ever Joey put on his, and then sold to me
  7. Just to clarify, some of the cattle stop running and just slide, at around the 3 minute mark of your recent video..
  8. This is where things might get interesting.. I've never heard of different versions of Stampede until now, but as I was watching your video that was recently posted, I noticed that some of the cattle we running differently(legs weren't moving) and thought it to be odd, compared to how I remember my version played. I haven't had a chance to play it since then, but with this new thought in mind, I'll pop my version in when I get home tonight and see if it looks the same as yours..
  9. neat video - thanks for posting.. that's pretty much the strategy I use as well, but obviously not as refined..
  10. Being in the plastics industry, I'm very skeptical of "factory sealed" games..
  11. I was just getting ready to post that...Mario Bros would be killer over the web. Tecmo Super Bowl, baby
  12. The only intriguing thing for me with the VC is if we'll be able to play 2 player games VS people over the internet.. that would definitely make it worth while..
  13. I'm 40 and have been playing video games for about 30 years as well, and you know what? I just enjoy playing games, doesn't really matter when or how they were made, just as long as they are fun. With my lifestyle as a working parent and all around family-man, I find classic gaming to be a better fit. Plus sharing it with my kids is a wonderful, wonderful thing. In fact, my 16 year old made a deal with me, wanting to go halfsies on the Wii when it comes out.. how nice is that?
  14. I usually knock out the bottom 3 then bounce the top three, keep doing that until the slow cattle appear on the bottom again, then lasso the top 3 and bounce the bottom 3.. seems to work well for me..
  15. Have you been to Hershey Park lately? They have at least 30 classic machines.. most in very good condition.. All of them are lined up together - it's beautiful!
  16. I feel so guilty.. I've voted in just about everyone so far, with no real intention of playing..
  17. I'm really up in the air on this - at 20 bucks a pop it'll be over $100 just to get in the door. The previous one and the Philly Classics, my kids would enjoy going and usually bring a buddy or two. If I do go, it'll probably be solo..
  18. My kids don't even know they're old school games, since they've grown up playing everything from the 2600 and up. To them they're just games. Some involve a longer investment in time and learning, others can be picked up in seconds. They like them all..
  19. Whatever happened to that Mario plat-former, I think was called Universe or something? They showed it at E3 and looked fabulous! I just assumed it would be ready for launch..
  20. I have an original Marvel Super Heroes and plan on building a MAME cab this winter..
  21. haha damn kids! I've been wondering.. have you tried Guitar Heroes for the PS2? Realizing you play a real guitar and all..
  22. Will I be able to play Tecmo Super Bowl against people from around the world on the Wii? I kind of got excited last night thinking about it.. more excited than waving a controller around(which is somewhat exciting)
