  1. There is rumored to be another version of the game, but I've played alot of Stampede carts and have found none yet. Join me in my quest!

This is where things might get interesting..

I've never heard of different versions of Stampede until now, but as I was watching your video that was recently posted, I noticed that some of the cattle we running differently(legs weren't moving) and thought it to be odd, compared to how I remember my version played. I haven't had a chance to play it since then, but with this new thought in mind, I'll pop my version in when I get home tonight and see if it looks the same as yours.. :ponder:

  2. I'm 40 and have been playing video games for about 30 years as well, and you know what? I just enjoy playing games, doesn't really matter when or how they were made, just as long as they are fun. With my lifestyle as a working parent and all around family-man, I find classic gaming to be a better fit. Plus sharing it with my kids is a wonderful, wonderful thing. In fact, my 16 year old made a deal with me, wanting to go halfsies on the Wii when it comes out.. how nice is that? :D

  3. If you like sports games, you MUST try to get Tecmo Super Bowl. EVERYBODY who liked sports video games and had an NES played that game all the time in 1992. As a Philadelphia Eagles fan, there was nothing like an improvised running play with QB Eagles (aka Randall Cunningham)!

  4. Honestly near me in PA in the immediate area near Philly there is none I have been to Dave and Busters in Philly they suck more of the same racing and shooting games. I know TNT Amusements isn’t that far good drive from me but not a real arcade I know the guy has tons of stuff still haven’t been there though. The only place I know of in PA is this place http://www.pinball-parlour.com/ apparently the guy has his collection and charges like $6 for an hour to $15 for a day great deal since I could burn through more than $15 in an hour but not the type of place were you just drop quarters in the game. Honestly I would love to open my own place like that guy did with my personal collection and just make every game 1 quarter like the good old days. Oh there is one place near the NJ shore that I heard had a lot of stuff but the name escapes me at this late hour of the night. I just got back at 12am and left at 4pm this afternoon on a road trip to pick up a Marble Madness game it has a chip problem but I will be posting that tomorrow or whenever I get a chance to get my hands into the game. In the mean time try this it's an arcade search engine for a lot arcades in the US but some stuff may not be up to date. http://arcadelocations.classicgaming.games...te=Pennsylvania You could probably find that place in NJ I was talking about on this web page.

Have you been to Hershey Park lately? They have at least 30 classic machines.. most in very good condition.. All of them are lined up together - it's beautiful!

  5. haha damn kids!

I'm a fan of what I call "active" games. DC Maracas, GC Bongos, Steering Wheels for various systems, Guns, etc., pretty much any kind of alternate controller.

I've been wondering.. have you tried Guitar Heroes for the PS2? Realizing you play a real guitar and all..

  6. We have at least 60 of the Hardy Boys books, quite a few from when I was a kid. Both my older sons enjoyed them a lot. Well actually my oldest did and continued to buy more of them. We found a dozen or so at an antique shop in Morgantown(right off the turn-pike).

Not quite sure we want to part with them though, since my 2 year old might eventually want to read them..

I distinctly remember reading that book in one day at a camping trip in Tennessee lol
