Yeah, I've seen those auctions as well and wondered about changing the batteries. I'll take a look at mine when I get home and see if I can take it apart and check out the batteries inside..

You bought sports games with the intent to resell them? Boy, that was your first mistake right there. Sports games NEVER increase in value unless they're bizarre ones like Mutant League Hockey or something.You might be able to get 50 cents each for those games... but that's assuming you find anyone who's interested.

I know that Maibock was interested in my copy of Deion Sanders Prime Time Football but so far, he has not gotten back to me. He collects sports games.

The only time I get to play with the Genny is when I'm on the exercise bike. I'm currently playing the 7 game playoff mode in NHL '97. Flyers are in the Stanley Cup vs Vancouver.
Man! I think they turn the AI speed up in the cup finals. I only have 2 goals in 2 games

My first ebay "situation" I suppose
I win an auction for the Genny D+D game that the kids have been bugging me to win. As usual I pay as soon as I know I have won and send an email to the seller telling so. No response except that the paypal was accepted. I wait a few more days and email again - no response. Today(a week later) I email and I get this response "I am having a problem with the battery saving the game do you want a refund or the game still?"
I think he might be saying this since it appears that I got a good deal on the game. I've seen these go for $10-$15 and I got it for 2.25. Do you think he's trying to get me to not take it so he can relist it? I have yet to find a Genny game which has had battery problems, but could this be true?

It is my system. I have owned about 15 Vectrex units over the years and this one is one of the better ones. I hate to part with it, but I have 2 and I just don't have room for both of them. If anyone on here buys it, I will include a free Air Sea Battle (gatefold version) for the Atari 2600 with it.cool, I'm thinking about it. I know nothing about these machines. BTW What happened with that one guy you sold one to? He seemed pretty pissed.

We need these games to complete all the sports titles for the Genesis(I know a daunting task, but the kids are into it)
Preferred to have them boxed with instructions and we enjoy paying around a buck a piece but will entertain other deals.

I'm interested, but need to do some research since I'm not too familiar with the Vectrex.. Except for what we played at the Philly Classic last year.. it seems like a cool unit, but how many games are there for it? are the game rare or readily available? Is there a lot of maintenance with these? etc etc etc

Try some of the sports games. I think Madden looks and plays much better on the Nomad than it does on the GBA.

I think you're right to leave a negative or at least a neutral feedback. This is something that should be mentioned if there wasn't a picture. I think the feedback would be honest since you would be warning prospective buyers that they should double check or to ask about the item with this seller. I would certainly like to know that about a prospective seller

Well, I couldn't find anyway to pry into the rechargable battery - I'd be afraid of tearing something up if I did. There were no screws or anything to get into it..
