I realize the deceptiveness, but you really have to factor shipping into the final costs. Do you believe there are people who bid without this knowledge and then actually go through with paying for that? I suppose some do.
I remember someone had the shipping fee buried deep into his description and there was nothing in the "shipping and handling" area. You really need to read the whole thing when bidding.

So, if I want to use it with batteries I would need either the "battery pack" or the AC adapter? The DC adapter is for an electrical outlet? Thanks for the help
you bonehead maibock! DC is with batteries(direct current) and AC is an electrical current(alternating currents)

I'm knew to this handheld system and would like to purchase one, since I'm getting more and more Genesis games. I noticed on ebay that there seems to be a battery adapter and an A/C adapter. I understand the A/C part, but what's with the battery pack? Isn't there a place for the batteries on the system? or Do I need the adapter to use batteries? or is it a rechargable adapter? I'm kind of confused with this.
Thanks

There's one more that I can think of, but I already made a guess.
yeah, me too. If nobody has guessed it yet, it's going to be a race for the finish

Never heard of this game, so thanks, I'll keep an eye out for that one. Always looking to find unknown games to me which are fun.

We have tournaments all the time when my kids have their buddies over - quick and fun with low learning curves is the recipe for fun.
Target Fun - it gets exciting when the scores start flashing
Indy500 - fast paced, furious action
Boxing - very simple and fun
Circus Atari - when beginners are playing, the games aren't too long and there's the humor factor
Basketball - again, simple and fun

play good games, drink beer, and buy cheap video games!sounds great! except I'm clear across the country. How about doing a whistlestop tour around the country

Nice! good luck with it!
Just curious, how did you come to the figure of $8,000 ?

My wife put the ixnay on having Atari stuff outside of my game room, actually the Man Room as we call it, yes she actually calls it that too.lol we call it the "He-man room" from the Little Rascal's "He-man Women's Hater Club"

I must agree. Baseball Stars is still one of the best baseball games. It has it all(custom players, tournament mode, great gameplay, great feel, and pretty decent logitics)
One of my favorite subtleties is climbing the wall and robbing a homerun, just an awesome added touch.

These moral debates are plain old silly (speaking about this thread in general, not your hypotheticals). If they made a mistake over at gamestop, it's their mistake. You're not defrauding anyone. You got a lucky break. It happens every once in a while.
I disagree. I personally enjoy some of these moral debates. You can learn who and who not to deal with and see where some people are coming from. I'm a strong believer that you can tell a person's character by forming opionions based on reading quite a few posts by that person.

cool. I'll have to check it out.

I enjoy PGA Tour II, but never had played the first one. Is PGA Euro Tour that much better?
-
Yeah Legend of Kyrandia or maybe King's Quest? I do recall a bridge that you had to pass in King's Quests. But then again, it's a fairly common task in games

I think I might go for it
our NES works but I have it in pieces and we don't have quite a few of those games
wish me luck!

I would have said something had I'd known the difference. I wouldn't enjoy playing the game had I known I ripped someone off, but then again is the $40 price with a box and a manual and you just got the cart? Maybe there's something wrong with the cart?
