COOL, I just watched the animated gif play through the game! How did you create that? manually write the moves down as you went? I peeked at - http://www.caissa.com/ , looks interesting.

Excellent except for the colors. -
I LIKE IT! Maybe I'll try to hack it so both sides of the cubes are blank, play like a dark level. I guess I need to revisit this, I was such a fan of the arcade, I never got past the 2600 ports differences.

Keystone Kapers gets remade and dropped onto Google Play
Pioneer4x4 replied to Random Terrain's topic in Atari 2600
Has anyone tried it? I recently picked up a Logitech Revue Google TV deal, it has Android 3.1 and real keyboard, glide pad, direction buttons... Seems far superior to touch screen for game purposes, BUT... Unless the app designer selects it as compatible, I can't get it via app store. More common apps, I can find the apk and sideload via dropbox. If someone has a real link I can download it from I'd like to try it. Random levels sounds interesting. Edit-Nevermind I think I found one and it did not work. I need to try a 2600 emulator for Android, hopefully there is one that will work onthis, WITH support for d pad! -

Get a Harmony cart, learn to program your own with bBasic, and make new carts to sell. Re-use those common shells!

Speed, plain as that. And don't run down any long passages, stay on the ends so you can go up or down quickly.

What I hated about that game is the 3D effect is blown by wrong shading on ½ the screen, (and the size of the pyramid is different than the arcade by 1 row) Now that I have learned a lot about how limited the 2600 is, I think it is actually a decent port all things considered.

Cool,BTW Nice license plate! (what car is that?)

I have all of the released games and overlays, most of them NIB. I can provide as high a resolution scan as you want. I want to make new overlays for the NonTendo R.O.B. cart I made than can be controlled by the 12 button controllers as well as joystick.
-
Good ideas! What did you put under the overlay as a cushion when you did that? I would love to make some quality overlays for the Star raiders and Kids Controllers, but if I can't make durable quality ones I don't want to make a hack job to provide to others. The main problem I would have is actually cutting them out with rounded corners and tabs. I think I probably just placed it on my worn-out carpet, which allowed the coin to make an indentation in the cardboard so it would be easier to find the buttons while playing the game. They didn't stick out as much as the original overlays, but worked just fine for my daughter. Thanks, I have a laminator (and coins...) I may try mocking something up that way. maybe a washer or button that is curved will work better. Did the lamination tear any?

I believe I have the TRS-80 version. I still have my original Model III, I can take a peek to see if any dates are on it (Not that it would mean anything)
-
I think I would like that more than anything else mentioned here, just for enjoyment, not for cash value.

That is good info, I never knew that.

AHH, I understand now! Like a walled compound!
-
I don't understand the part about walls.
-
Sounds like no problem, gotta go measure just to be sure...

Just curious, how are they being shipped? USPS? (Will they fit in a mailbox) I don't want to risk it being left on my porch in the rain, if someone is not home at the time. Not that it EVER rains in Pittsburgh area!
-
Not too shabby at all! Thanks! Just curious, what rate and what equipment did you use to capture the audio?
-
I remembered! We were unable to find anyone accessible that was worthy of autographing it. Maybe next year.

Just bought a Standard Harmony Cart
Pioneer4x4 replied to atari2600land's topic in Harmony Cartridge
But it only has one ARM and no LEGS. Very disappointing. Not that disapointing. Look at this thread: http://www.atariage....endo-rob-robot/ When I was searching for this thread I found another: http://www.atariage....obot/index.html I even downloaded the game Yay, my video is linked! Still Arms, Head, but no legs... (yet) -
I typically go on Friday, but cannot get there till Saturday this year, and we always have tickets to the Parade as well. (The best festival on the planet!) I do not have a box, I do have manuals though. Hmm, Guy Fieri is at the Parade, and driving the Pace Car on opening lap, maybe I can get him to sign Fast Food... Personally, if I could get a picture of someone from the 70s holding it, like A.J. Foyt!!! That would be amazing! We get to the track early on race day, I just need to mill around and see what I can make happen.

I am going to the Indy 500 again this year. I go most years, and I have planned/tried to take my Atari Indy500 cart and take some kind of picture at the track. I have forgot to bring it twice, left it at the hotel once, left it on the bus once. THIS IS THE YEAR!!! I may even bring a couple along with paint pens and see if I can get an autograph on one. Does anyone have any good ideas on pictures? I was thinking of taking one from my seat (Across from the last few pit spots, upper deck) with the cart on a rail in the foreground. Maybe a picture of a celebrity holding it, or a picture of it at the Indianoplois 500 Festival Parade.
