  1. I'll take another look if I go out that way again. I'm pretty sure it's not going anywhere. I did't notice the extra ports. Heck if I get it, I will want 4 controllers for Party games!
  2. I believe it had original controllers. I remember not being impressed with the feel. No the suicase of commons were $2 each. The Sears unit was pretty dingy, maybe it would cleanup OK. It would be an alternative to the Jr. I mainly use I guess. I think I'll leave it. It was at least 30 min away.
  3. Can anybody help me with that question?
  4. I saw a guy that had one, I forget how much, maybe $40 or so. http://www.atariage.com/2600/systems/sys_SearsVideoArcade2.jpg Is there any reason to pick it up? I already have a Jr, a 4 switch woody and vader, a heavy 6, and a 7800. He also had a suitcase of carts, but the only one I noticed I didn't have was Racquetball, and maybe some sears. $2 each, nothing jumped out at me worth getting.
  5. Very cool, $15, not bad either. I just may get one!
  6. I did play and got decent scores, but none in the medals, so I didn't bother uploading my pictures. The ski jump events were fun, but the downhill ones were not!
  7. Wow, I butchered quoting on my last post... Anyway, what foot pedal?
  8. The funny thing was I have had the game for 15 years, and never noticed the typo! And I just went through them yesterday, and I forget which 2 I found already... We need a list of carts that have typos/wrong info on them...
  9. To sum it up the program I'm trying to work on needs ram, I might get by with the 8kSC setting, but I really want this to be a hardware project, and more people have Superchargers that other programmable carts (I assume, maybe a poll...) I have 2 superchargers, and a Harmony. Can I use batari Basic to make a .bin that will run on the supercharger and have more than 128 bytes of ram? If not, what is the best method to use that will work on a harmony, that is the easiest/cheapest to make a real cart from?
  10. [quote name='Philflound' date='Fri Feb 26, 2010 7:35 PM' timestamp='1267230946' I wish I could get this done already so I can start doing the Intellivision. That is going to be a huge undertaking since I'll be making the list from scratch. I can see that taking a year to do. Phil OK, I'll keep comparing what I have. I thank you for your site, especially since I now have a whole new level of knowledge of the differences, and I found I have 2 labels with errors! One had the wrong controller, and the other was some other typo. (You had both already) I really don't have anything that rare except for my supercharger tapes.
  11. [quote name='katana' date='Fri Feb 26, 2010 4:51 PM' timestamp='1267221116' im sure you've made it to the target in the middle, but in case you hav'nt you shoot it dont touch it. No I haven't made it. I would have tried to pick it up!
  12. Actually, I didn't need to rename, I just dragged the png file to my Stella shortcut and it worked as is!
  13. WARNING, WARNING, DANGER WILL ROBINSON, the attached image has malicious code embedded in it, 1 by 1 it nibbles away at various blocks of data.
  14. Ugh, I can't make it through without crashing... I need a better touch, maybe I'll try a different stick, I think my Wico I've been using favors left and down too much.
  15. Did the ones I posted help? If so, I will continue to check and offer more if I find any that might be an improvement.
  16. Has anyone made it through the maze and back? Is the timer for both ways, or just to get in?
  17. What does this mean? Superman Cartridges version a)* U 2nd txt no ©, CART1, ML: no “Program ©1979...” small ®, NOTE: has a glitch in the program, this error is rarer My cart matches that picture, is there an error on the rom?
  18. Sure. I take what I can get until something better comes along. Phil OK, how do I get them to you? Plus I noticed a typo. You have "Cookie Monster Crunch", it should be "Munch". Here are some. My Cosmic Commuter has more Actiplaque, but is trimmed better than yours, you can see the whole foot of the alien. I wouldn't call it different, just trimmed better. Plus on the activision carts, it is odd how some are horrible with actiplaque and some aren't. Both my Skiing and your scan are perfect, but my Sky Jinks is horrible.
  19. [quote name='GregadetH' date='Thu Feb 25, 2010 9:50 AM' timestamp='1267109409' Haha! That's the problem. I knew I should have asked the sales guy to show me an LCD with analog audio out, pc video in, pc audio in and Atari 2600 compatibility. I remember bringing home made DVD's into a store to test them on players before I bought them. I can imagine bringing a 2600 in, setting it up in Best Buy on a 65" plasma... then assuming it works, say "These don't have burn in problems, right?"
  20. I was comparing my scans to the ones on your site, and noticed 1 or 2 that I have that are better condition labels. Are you interested in them?
  21. I guess there is 1 alternative to try. Can you try another 2600? Or can the audio part of the signal be boosted?
  22. I re-read your original post, and I can't even make up another guess. Just curious, when you say you hooked it up via a VCR and sound was OK. How was the VCR connected to the TV? If it was a/v cables, could you try the R/F cable and the VCR to ouput on a different channel than the 2600, and have the vcr "re-modulate" the video to a new channel as if you were recording it? Another idea, say with vcr->tv with a/v cables is OK, but not via r/f cable, I wonder if you record the 2600 on tape, and play it back if that changes anything by generating a "new" signal. Anyway, just me being curious because if one way worked and not the other, I still wouldn't have a suggestion.
  23. Secret Quest did not only use a code to save your game, it was the first game to use a code, soon after it became standard on lots of NES games What? So no earlier computer game used a code? C64, A8 etc? Really? You have a point, I am not sure on the computer side. I was only thinking of Atari and gaming systems. I was certain that I read somewhere that Survival Island was the first on any system. It is definitely earlier than Secret Quest right?
  24. thanks for the response! Yes, we checked both with no results. We did notice that when previewing the channels on the add/delete channel guide (tv has built in dtv tuner)that the Atari will play audio through channel 2 with no picture in the preview. However, switching to channel two for gameplay doesn't solve the problem. I have one other idea, what happens if you have it on channel 3 with a NES or Atari 800 or something else working OK with sound, then without turning the TV off or changing channels, plugging in the 2600.
  25. That looks like it would work great! I think the rca jack on my Jr. is loose anyway. If I decide to pull it apart, I might do several mods including the pause one to it. I think I would still go with jacks/sockets, so if the cables got mangled, you can just plug in a new set.
