Do you have an instruction manual?
I played this game for the 1st time, I played it like a pac-man game.
But there are some things I don't understand:
The character has nice boxing gloves, but cannot use them.
What makes the charcater rotate and temporary immobile?
What are the two chambers for(with the minus sign in it) ????

I'm having a lot of problems with the bonus stages ... memory problems!

Any tips on the Mars section? I got destroyed big time--3 lives lost in 2 stages!
For the first 2 waves I go to 5 o'clock and move up and try to get as many as possible.
For the third and forth waves I go to 10 o'clock and move down while trying to get as many enemies as possible.
Then I shoot in the center, on one side of the screen, to kill as many ships as possible (the ones that are not flying towards you)
When the satellites shows up I go to the other side.
Easier said then done.
I probably lost a few lives myself but I was lucky enough to only loose 1 life in the first 19 stages.

Ok Great. I had it set to hard.
Last time we played it was at Hard.
So players from last year make sure you check you didswiches.
The Twingalaxies default is hard ... BTW Twingalaxies.com is now working, the scorebaord is activated.

I don't think my left hand can hand much more of this fire button.
You can keep the fire button pushed down for auto fire.
That's usually what I do, unless I go for the spider or 1 segment of the centipede.

Does MAME allow mouse or trackpad input?
Yes, in MAME go to Option>Default game options>Controller tab and check the Enable mouse Input box.
In.106 that's how it's done.
In the game you can change the sensibility with Tab>Analog controls

Bonus ... after about 50 tries!
INP attached (WM106) ... it's about the 22nd game.
Use F10 for Fast Forward
FYI, If you are using an optical trackball, disable your joystick, especially if it's also optical.

We should use the ROM: BUBLBOBR
"Bubble Bobble(US Mode with select)"
The Super Bubble Bobble ROM is exactly the same game, as the original, but with different enemies. But they do not use their special power such as throwing things.
To make sure you are using the right ROM you should see the screen below after pressing player 1 Start. (select Super game by moving the joystick right and then pressing fire)
Also, the enemies on level 1 throws fire at you!

It's difficult to follow when the leader board is not updated. (I hope everything if OK with CParsley)

Super Bubble Bobble is very similar to the original.
The same game play, same levels.
The only difference is that the enemies in each levels are different than in the originals.
