Working in MESS + xbox controler with USB adapter. I mapped player two to ABXY buttons. A=1 b=2 x=3 y=4 score:37,810

Are we allowed to play with one joystick? I use my XBOX controller ... analog stick + 4 fire buttons. Edit: just saw the post above! ... I will try with MESS+XBOX controller.

I had time to play a quick game this afternoon. 130,820 I used the recording tool included in Altira. It gave me a file of about 95mb for 15 minutes of play. The only problem I had was that the directions (arrows) were not working correctly when the game started. After moving in all directions, everything was OK. Me neither, to break the record, you have to play for +70 hours. A few have tried recently but none as succeded yet. I usualy fell a sleep before 11pm I don't think I'll be able to play for that long!

Nice. I can also play for ever at this game ... including the arcade version. I guest it's just a mater of how much free time I have. I also stopped playing just after passing the 1 million mark, I took a picture jsu before getting there. I played up to 1,2 million and stopped with several lifes left. This was a game I played a lot in the 80's ... I was playing for hours on a quarter, very useful when you don't have a lot of money!

Could you please let me know the settings you're using. Also, they key you have to press to start a game and change the level of difficulty. Thanks. I see the starting screen but I cannot start the game!

I remember playing it way back then and I completly forgot about it ... until I played at Funspot last summer. Great score BTW. I'm stuck at the level when they turn into mini creatures. If you have an INP to share it would be appeciated.

Very nice score! Thanks. Starting at level 6 Qbert speed increases, looks like it's twice as fast. The strange thing is that the the other also goes faster but not twice fster. So, It's actually easier to play, for me at lease, than the first five levels. I'll try to make a video this week. The problem with this one is that it takes about 2hrs to get to 1 million!

You should rotate your TV. It's probably easier to have an eye on the left and one on the right instead of up and down

Is the 7800 in good condition, image, power supply, joystick?

Why? Is there a difference in difficulty level between emulation and original hardware? Or it's too easy to cheat? Some emulators allow changing the game speed and even some cleverly engineered hacks can get snuck in. Like when someone used a hack of Ms Pacman in a contest last year. It was engineered to give only the highest bonus fruits. I believe our players are honest, otherwise they'd win a lot more games. In reality, I've found emulated versions to be harder than originals on many titles. I see. A similar thing happen in the MAME HSC recently. Personally I'm just starting playing the 5200 for the first time. This is a console and never played before and would like to try a few games to see if I should start collecting. The HSC is a great way to do that. I recently start playing the 7800 and I love it. And now I'm on the hunt for a console!.
