888k that's high, They probably don't allow the tunnel rackup ... but they don't mention it. But even in the manual they mention that when your score gets over 300k it's reset to zero and dots appear somewhere to let you know how often the counter when over the 300k mark. So this kind of score can be acheived. I don't think it gets harder than on the heart level. If you can master that level I guest you could play for a while. For the tunnels, the ones on both side of the bank, I usualy get the other one after I picked up the remaining gold coin in the top right portion (see 3rd image on my patern). If you can go down this tunnel turn right you shoul get the money bag at that time. For those having problems with both tunnels try this. See image below. Again this is not something that does not work on the first level. You can also start the same patern by turning right at the start. This way the two cops on the right will go in the upper portion on the screen. My friends and I use to called those tunnels "the tunnels of death"

This is the patern I try to do. Of course, it does not work all the time... whitch is great Also, the last third of the level is all random and luck. BTW, it does not work very well on the first level but for level 2,3,4,5,6 it usualy work. What I like the most is that you also get "secondary target" just before the cash bag. In the later levels, instead of picking up the 2nd target and then the cash bag, I go for the cash bag directly, it's really to have a good timming with the walls. Then I try go go down and get the 2nd target, you only have to get 2 gold coin. Of course the rest of the partern is no longer working, but to get the key at 3000 or the heart at 5000 its wort it. In the second image, I usualy get the red police between doors in the upper left corner. Note: I also included a scan of the Manual. Good luck to all. 51800 I was higher than that on my previous game. I'm sure I can get over 100k. I use to have some sord of patern back then, It slowly coming back to me. I'll share something later this week.

I was having a good game then I got stuck in the tunnel loop!! You know when you pressed Up/Down very quickly when going through the tunnel. I think it's the first time I do this not on purpose!

It's the first time I play this game on the NES. I played a lot on the arcade. I use this site as a reference on how to get the special items. http://tjasink.com/games/bb/items2.html also this page http://tjasink.com/games/bb/ I don't think that all of the arcade item and bonus points are available in the NES version. For example, in the arcade, if you get to level 20 without loosing any life, you get to a level containing severals dimonds worth 10 000 points each. If you go through the bottom hole a any level more than 10 time, you have the possibility to get 100 000 points by eating all the obkects on the screen. One that work great: Try to get your tens and hundreds digits lined up. For example 10990, 270110, 345660. Blow as many bubbles as you can, as far as possible from the ennemies that are already captured in bubbles. Then pop all the ennemies, make sure that you don't hit any other empty bubbles before you do because it will increase your score by 10 making this trick not work. All the empty bubbles will change to fruits worth 300 points each. This way you can get 5000 or 6000 extra point at each level. Always pop as many ennemies at the same time as possible: This will give you more points 1000 for one 2000 for 2 - 4000 for 3 - 8000 for 4 - 16 000 for 5 and so on. The fruits you get will also give you more points. Also when you pop more than 3 ennemies, you will get letters to spell EXTEND. If you kill 3 you will get 1 letter, 4 you will get 2 letters and do on. When you pop more that 3 ennemies but don't end the level, the letters will appear right away. If you don't get the letter in the current level, they will come back at the beginning of the next level. Hope this help. If I think of any other I'll let you know. Good luck.

Yes: Spy Hunter. I think Rocky and FrontLine also use all 4 buttons but not the spinner. There may be others. Luc is right as far as I know. Only baseball, football and perhaps soccer (never played soccer) use the spinner. I suppose for maximum compatibility, there should be a spinner centered below or to the right of the joystick. Glad I am not the only one that wants the joystick on the right 5-11under. Is Spy Hunter also only using the 4 buttons?
