Video: I take a trip to the old Coleco Factory
Tighe replied to Tighe's topic in ColecoVision / Adam
Thanks! I never knew that! All these years I've been doing it wrong! -
It's about 20 minutes from my house, the video isn't anything super exciting, but it's cool never the less. I wish the beverage center in the old factory building was open when I was there. I bet they have some stories!

I am really late to the party on this thread, I would love one of these if you are doing a second batch.

Colecovision, Atari 7800 and Intellivision - RGB!
Tighe replied to bacteria's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Hey Bacteria, Did you take any pictures of the inside of your French CV? I wonder how hard it would be to modify a USA CV to output RGB. -
Let's stop feeding the troll.

Or replacing the bios chip, jtag, or serial connection, sd cards aren't necessary to do this.

Has anyone hacked the MAX to run NES ROMs yet?
-
My old PC I built a long time ago I have a Yamaha OPL sound card in it. I think that was a OPL2 pretty sweet that this will have a chip that is even more powerful! Edit: What is the possibility of adding in a YRW801-M for extra samples and YSS225 for effects?
-
So this will be a lot like the Genesis/Mega Drive, in that it had a Z80 along with its 16 bit processor (68000). What will be the 16 bit processor in the CV2?
-
Thanks, do you have a disassembler of choice that you like? Particularly what did you use to disassemble the arcade Donkey Kong and Pac-Man ROMs?
-
You are using Borland's Turbo Assembler for z80 opcode?? I am confused...

Nope, prototype only. The only official release for the Atari 8-bit was on a disk with the C64 version on the other side. I have an original BCI Software disk and there is no C64 version on the flip side... are these harder to find? Thanks, Roger I have the BCI disk as well. Atarimania says they are both rarity 8 I do have question however on the Utopia Software version...the title screen is different so is version different? Nope, prototype only. Yes, there was a leaked release before it was finished: http://www.digitpress.com/library/interviews/interview_robert_jaeger.html

-
Thanks, was there a cart released, or was it only a prototype?
-
I know that there was a unfinished prototype of the game that was on disk, but I cannot seem to find the 400/800 version on a cartridge. Did it exist? All I find are things like this: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 190588275850

The best place to start is on the Nintendo Age forums.

I was wondering if this thread could be deleted? since this was sold a long time ago, it would be awesome if it didn't show up in google.

I figured I would post this here, it is very long (30 minutes)

Well I do still have these laying around on a shelf somewhere in my house... --Selgus I am very interested in the idea. Would it be possible to have the modem direct connect to a PC with a modem, which would then tunnel the connection through the internet to another player with the same setup? Like the Warp Pipe project? Also does anyone have the patches anymore? Wouldn't those be needed to link the games? If the PC acted as the intermediary it could send the patch, then disconnect and pick up when the modem went to dial the opponent, and then establish the connection. I only have a SNES version of Xband.

I recently made some trades and sales on AA, and I want to leave feedback for those members. I can see a reputation score, but how do I add to it?

Tighe replied to Tighe's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
....Especially since the Angry Video Game Nerd GRILLED it in one of his best episodes. It's funny. Usually a game goes UP in demand after he does it for some reason... LOL I just watched it!!! Hillarious!!!! http://www.videosift.com/video/Angry-Video-Game-Nerd-Plumbers-Don-t-Wear-Ties
