Hey everyone still following this topic!

I'm planning on doing my last 12 hours on Wednesday, December 30th.  I'll be shooting for 9am - 9pm EST.  Hopefully our internet connection will be in proper form.  I have a technique for testing our speeds and I've worked through the "reboot everything" dance enough times to know if that will help with the connection speed when we get closer.  I'll be doing testing on Tuesday the 29th to hopefully make sure everything is ready to go.  So feel free to stop by the stream.

Thanks again to everyone who has contributed to the campaign!  I really appreciate it.  This is a generous community.

If you planned to contribute but didn't get around to it, it's not too late!  Links for the stream and for how to give are at my website: http://www.rickandviv.net

Thank you for honouring me by playing on my birthday. 😂 My birthday wish is for as many people as possible to help support Rick with whatever they can and for Rick to play Carnival and Sharp Shot and try not to curse too much while doing so.

On the topic of Radofin titles, I was wondering if anyone else remembers an Australian auction with about 12 or so Aquarius carts plus systems. If memory serves me right there were *multiple* copies of Space Speller and Zero-In, and there might’ve even been melody chase and chess there. It was a few years back, maybe 2016 or 2017? I tried digging for info about it but it’s all erased from eBay’s archives. Lot picture showed all of them outside on a table I think. Just want to know if I’m going crazy or if a lot of this caliber really did exist, and what happened to it.

If it's the one I think I bought a few items from it although they were sold separately.

I am working on expanding my Packaging History to include Sears. The easy part is that a bunch are printed in Hong Kong with a tray and the rest are printed in USA without one. Night Stalker is the only game known to exist from both locations. All the HK games except Night Stalker, have the game name in blue and the part number with the name on the left and right-side up when the box is laying on the table with the front cover facing up. The US boxes are a mixed bag, with only two games matching that layout and six (including Night Stalker) matching the flipped layout, with the name upside down on the right. Three games have the name on the left but no part number on the top. Then there is Space Hawk, which has the flipped layout, but the game name on the top and on the back are both in black ink. Space Hawk is also the only one missing the Sears part number on the spine and in the upper right of the front cover, having it ONLY on the top flap. Further, the part numbers on the manual and the box (below and to the left of the cartridge) use the Mattel-style part numbers, ending in -0910 and -0920, but the first four digits are different than the Mattel numbers and have no relationship to the part number on the outside of the box.

But there are two games in my collection that are different - Basketball and Hockey. Both have Hong Kong overlays, so they are modified. Basketball has crossed out the "Cartridge made in Hong Kong, Controller overlays printed in U.S.A, Balance" text so that only "Made and Printed in Hong Kong" remains. Soccer has put a sticker over the text to say "Made in Hong Kong"  My question is, is this the only way this was done? Do all Sears boxes have this change or do some have US overlays? Are there any other boxes that have this variation?

My Basketball is also blacked out like that and my Soccer has the Hong Kong sticker as well. My Space Battle has the Hong Kong sticker too.

Hmmmm. I just did a search on AtariAge for posts that had both the words "Rev" and "traumatized" and was absolutely shocked to find out that this was the only instance. I would think these two words would be linked together in the local vernacular like pork and beans.

    Haha! You would think...

Yes!  I would highly recommend getting one of the older style Intellivisions.  I personally like the Tandy models the best.  @cmart604 or @nurmix or @Lathe26 may have more data, but I've always found the Tandy's to work better and last longer for some reason (although maybe it's just me).  I also like the all woodgrain look to them!

There is currently one on Ebay for around $200 including shipping... but that seems a little high to me (it does come with 10 games though).

But there are a lot of the original ones that are working and are a lot cheaper:

Agreed! The Tandy is my favourite as well.
