My story isn't that exciting, it was an eBay auction from a short lived AA member who had Spiker, SMB and I think 60 or so other CIB games. We ended up doing a deal directly for $1300 which I felt was a good price and he was thrilled since he'd found the lot. Previously I bought my sealed bag Spiker probably 8 or 9 years ago for $90 IIRC.

I know its hard to prove, But now Iook at reviews and if I see other commenting on having fake bidders for different auctions I know longer look at their items. I had one idiot do that, I should have read the review, then he changed the price of the auction at the end telling me if I dont add more money for the shipping he is just going to mail it in the envelope. But if the reserve is lower than your max bid, the current bid will jump right to the reserve price? So if the opening bid is $1 and the reserve is $50 and you bid a max of $75, as soon as you bid, the current bid price will instantly become $50, not $1. (obviously with a little notation that the reserve has been met)

Space patrol is getting rereleased? I dusted off my cache of unused boxes from the last run, and will be selling a small run until the cardboard runs out. There will be no more boxed copies of Space Patrol after these, unless something convinces me to make a gatefold release. I'd rather focus on the sequel, though. Oh, for the love of all that is holy, now you've put that thought out into the universe and they must be made! Gatefold edition please! I'm first in line. An absolute top end game like Space Patrol deserves a top of the line release with all the bells and whistles. Please make it so Joe. Wouldn't you rather have a new title? I predict an answer along the lines of "all of the above" -- new title AND gatefold re-release of Space Patrol, and just about anything else we can bring out for the system. rhe *** has no range limit it is not limited to 3 so it allows for large amounts of variation. we just dont know what *** in our secret id is. well that changes everything! since each secret ID consists of *** i kept looking at it as exactly that (***) and not three hidden random alphanumeric characters. They're 5 digits long, and include both numbers and letters and upper and lower case so there's a lot more combinations available than that. On numbers alone it would be 99,999 wouldn't it? Add in 26 letters x 2 for upper and lower case and don't you have 62 possible options for each of the five digits/characters/spaces? Much higher number I'd say. Mine is 7***h. Nope. If you sign out of eBay and then view an auction you've won or are currently winning, you can see your "secret" ID, or what everyone else sees when you bid.

Actually that's an excellent idea. Anyone that is comfortable with the rest of us knowing his ID should post theirs in a new thread so that we know if we're bidding against a fellow AA'er. By the way, you don't have to be Sherlock Holmes to figure them out so no real sense in hiding them.

It's something I've wanted to do myself for quite a while. I'm sure we can pull it off together, as long as we don't do any big mistakes along the way.
