I love it when someone tells me they need the sports games, or Astrosmash. I literally smile when I see that someone needs some common games, because it means I can clean out some space! (For verrrry reasonable prices I might add.) Why don't I just turn this into a sales thread for Cmart Inc while I'm at it.

How about this: 125 loose = silver member 125 cib = gold member 125 factory sealed = PLATINUM By the way, when Utahmountainrose finished selling her husband's vast collection, she stated in one of her last auctions that she was done selling because she finally got down to his "core" collection - a complete factory sealed set, which he was keeping No one can truly have a factory sealed set as the later releases were never sealed. There is NO WAY to verify that no one ever opened the top or bottom flap to take a look inside. But as for the rest of the games, yeah they can be sealed! Agreed. You could have a mint set, but there were lots of games that never came sealed. I'd also throw it out there that there's another pretty specific version of the original 125 that I'm working on, all the very first releases of the boxes, the "true' original 125. This means all the US issued versions of the games if one exists, (ie. Super Cobra, Tut, Championship Tennis, World Cup Soccer) including all those that referenced the Keyboard Component. Believe it or not, there are actually variations of the Keyboard Component boxes, some of which I recently discovered with that 000111 system. Steve Orth didn't even have some of these listed on INTVFunhouse. Also, those that came in gatefold, however briefly. This includes Buzz Bombers, Vectron, Burgertime, Mission X and some of the ECS games. This should be the "Platinum 125" designation.

Yep. I've submitted everything but the Mattel ones and the twos, the other hardware, and a couple of new arrivals. Then I guess I need to do the games. My homebrew shelf is officially full, and it's now creeping on to a second shelf with some recent additions.

All joking aside, if you're going to collect variations there are really only two ways to do it. Either you ask Rev and I if we have any doubles , or you step outside of North America. I, for one, in my ridiculous quest to put together a fair sized Intellivision collection, have bought games, systems, and other Intellivision paraphrenalia from the following countries in the last year or two: US, Canada, UK, Germany, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Austria, Spain, Greece, China, Japan, Singapore, Australia, Venezuela, Brazil, and Argentina, and I may be missing a couple. I've had very few issues with shipping other than the obvious time issues with some countries, but at the same time I've received packages within a week or so from the UK, and maybe more shockingly, Italy recently. If I could find a source in Mexico and Sweden, I'd add those countries to my list as well, but I haven't been successful finding contacts in either place yet. There's some cool stuff out there to be had, but please email Rev and I first before bidding just to make sure we haven't already claimed said items. :lolblue:

I say that to people all the time when I explain how my postal delivery lady and the women at the post office are on a first name basis with me and never ask me for ID. The two purple ones shouldn't be too hard to come by, you'll just likely have to pay $100-150 each to get them, but the white box will be a lot harder to find.

Ah! I have seen that on ebay for ages, and no doubt it will remain there for much longer as long as he doesn't divide the price at least by a factor 3! Roberto's right, that game will stay there forever (or someone will freakishly overpay for Congo). If you can get one between $200-300 that's fair, and above $300 if it's mint.
