Like purenergy before me, I too have bought a bunch of stuff off of Yurkie and have been very pleased with everything I received and how professional and responsive he has been.
-One set of Mario Controllers that look so good I feel bad pulling them out of their box
-2 sets of refurbished and modified controllers
-2 modded CV's that both play fantastic
I would highly recommend having Yurkie do work on your CV stuff as well as buying directly from him.

ColecoVision with A/V composite mod and refurbished controllers with ball knobs, includes power supply and A/V cord. $175 plus shipping. This unit is tested and working 100% Will be posting a picture as soon as I figure out what is wrong with my digital camera.
Here is a picture of the Complete ColecoVision set mentioned. This Console is Modded with my single jack A/V composite. Tested and working 100%. The controllers are refurbished and working 100% perfect and have ball knobs. $175 plus shipping.
As I mentioned in another thread, I've now bought two of these modded units off Yurkie, as well as replacement controllers and the Mario controllers and I've been very happy with the work he's done as well as how professional he's been.
Thanks again for your commitment to classic gaming.

The ColecoVision on Post #9 is still available and as a special offer now through Friday March 12th at 11:59PM EST if you buy this system you get Q*bert Qubes as an added free bonus.
Here is a link for the Q*bert Qubes Cartridge
http://www.atariage....__fromsearch__1
The trade in credit is not valid with this special offer.
This console is an absolute beauty. I went over this and thoroughly cleaned everything. I cleaned the cartridge slot with De-oxit, dissembled and refurbished the power switch to like new condition. Tested it to make sure that there was absolutely no video, controller port or any other issues.
The controllers are completely refurbished. Dome contacts removed and inspected, contact points soldered and filed smooth for maximum contact. The fire buttons where desoldered and refurbished. Keypad contacts de-oxidized as well as the socket that it plugs into. The controllers have replacement ball knobs which makes gaming a lot more fun and a lot less stress on the hands.
Over and above all this it has my new A/V mod and the RF jack works also if you want to hook it up to a TV that doesn't have composite jacks.
I realized that $199 is not a small some of money, but as I am sure many people that collect for the ColecoVision have learned first hand, the ColecoVision is problematic and you could easily spend $45 for a set and have a non-working piece of garbage on your hands. Even if you get lucky and the console does work, it will more than likely be a filthy mess and it is almost a sure thing that one or both of the controllers will have issues. I wish I would have had the opportunity to buy this a little over a year ago, when I had to buy 4 off of ebay and then 1 off of craigslist, then thanks to a nice guy here on Atariage I managed to get one of them working. I have studied and learned everything I can about this awesome console from my childhood over the last year, and I hope that I can help people avoid all the hassle and expense that I had to go through.
Pending Sale for this Unit.
Sold to a gentleman in Canada.
I bought this unit off of Yurkie and I can attest to its sheer awesomeness!
Seriously, he did a great job restoring it and I would highly recommend buying from him or having him refurb one of your own less-than-stellar units. He really cares about ensuring there will be classic gaming goodness for a while to come and I for one appreciate what he does.
(Plus he called me a gentleman which doesn't happen enough to me.

I have 2 sets of controllers that are completely refurbished and working 100% These have ball knobs installed in place of the original discs. Controllers are super clean. $60 a set plus $7 shipping to anywhere in the US. Shipping to Canada and Europe more. Here are pictures of the exact controllers for sale.
I received my second set of refurbished and modded controllers from Yurkie and they are fantastic. I'd highly recommend his handiwork to anyone considering buying these.

Congrats! Great news! Great name! While I won't be making it to MGC I'm sure looking forward to buying one from you in the future Eduardo.
Cheers, cmart

Who's collecting all the ColecoVision Games Library?
Complete in Box ?
Loose ?
Homebrew too ?
Complete in Box Homebrew only?
You can also share a picure of your Collection!
I am. I need about 10-12 to complete my collection but many of them are the terrible Learning with Leeper/Logic Levels type games, so I've been more interested in collecting CIB or NIB which I now have 50-60 of.
I've also been collecting homebrew stuff from you and Opcode and Luc as well as a couple of others. Enjoying my Mario Bros, looking forward to getting my copy of Penguin Land as well as your future games.

-
I need 5 of these....
...what to do???? Did anyone look at his other INTV auction?? 51 consoles and 1150+ carts plus a bunch of other stuff.
WOW.Rev take a picture of all that Intelly stuff you bought, in one pile.
HHWI will when i get all of it.It is still en route from Cali.It is coming in 12 big boxes

REV!!! You won this one?!?! That's awesome.
Remember how I said our collections were pretty similiar in the "Show off your Intelivsion collection" thread? Not now...or at least not when your 12 boxes arrive!By the way I did get around to posting those pics, including the homebrews which I thought you'd appreciate. Congrats on a huge score. Lucky many of our spouses put up with us and our collecting.

ugggh. That was ugly, not going to bother posting a picture. 1805. I suck at this, particularly on game#4. I guess I must have played on game#1 back in the day because I do remember being better than this. Not sure I'll bother trying this again, we'll see.
-
Haven't played this one in a while, looking forward to some more Imagic goodness. Seem to remember the controller not being ideal for this...

Very Very Nice

Thanks nonner, coming from you that's no small praise. I left out the picture of my CIB 2600, 7800, CV and Nintendo collections which you might have appreciated. It was just getting too late and I was getting frustrated with the crap picture quality.

Id love to add you collection to my own.

For the small price of 1 meeeelion dollars you may have it.
(apologies for the Dr. Evil reference) -
Recent INTV additions:
- A loose Tower of Doom from Ebay for $16.50 shipped, woohoo!
I really really wanted this and Thunder Castle in my collection, but I wanted ToD to come to me first and TC to come after it because ToD seemed to suit my tastes better, or so I thought. (i vastly underestimated the sheer awesomeness of Thunder Castle....)
Didn't work out that tho since I stumbled upon Thunder Castle a month or two ago at a very reasonable price.
Also, I recently traded a boxed Nosferatu (snes) for a boxed Final Fantasy Legend III (gb), Empire Strikes Back (2600), Magic of Scheherazade (nes) manual and..... a loose Popeye (intv)!
Now I just need Chip Shot Golf and Commando....
And a system changer and an ECS + the ECS games (aside from Mr. Basic which I already have), and that's all.
Ohoh!, and Diner! how could i forget Diner?! Deffo need to get that.
oops. Plus, I forgot Dig Dug and Dracula, and THEN that'll be IT for my wants (after i get all Psycho Stormtrooper overlays & the corresponding games not already in collection, along with the boxes/manuals for ToD & TC and an INTV-specific display case AND Space Patrol, of course).
(and also a videoplexer.)
*sigh* INTV collectin' can be a real pain in the ass! but damn it's oh so much fun.

Still no package from Panama or Venezuela.
This pretty much sums up the awesomeness of collecting for the INTV.
And yes, make sure you get Super Space Patrol whenever it comes out, hopefully this year. -
Have all Penguin Land games been sent out now? Really looking forward to this one.
AX
I do make all things possible to sent remaining paid Penguin Land
However, I do not have many free times those days (job,GF's pregnency, etc)
BUT, I'm sure I'll be able to do it in the next 2 weeks
I've like 15-20 copies to send to complete the pre-order list, so it won't be long

Many projects are on the way!
Burn Rubber is coming soon, Coleco Rod Hockey, and some others that I'll not dicuss now
Coleco Rod Hockey is a tribute to the old Coleco Hockey Table
Graphics are at 90% , when completed, programing will start
Sounds great Retro, I'm looking forward to receiving my Penguin Land and I'll certainly be lining up for Burn Rubber and Rod Hockey. (In honour of us winning gold at the Olympics?!?!)

Pesonal Arcade Module would be my choice of these 3...
Personal Arcade sounds like the Telegames shit

Just my two cents

Good point, hadn't thought of that, plus it would be great if I could spell Personal.

-
EVE is another nice name
EVE reminds me of douche
This made me laugh out loud at work so much that a woman who works near me came over to see what I was laughing about...wasn't sure what to say to her, so I just kind of mumbled something and pretended that I had to make a phone call.

-
Pro-Arcade Module (PAM)
RealArcade Module (RAM)
Personal Arcade Module (PAM)
Pesonal Arcade Module would be my choice of these 3, although I do also like the Arcade Experience Module. Whatever name you choose to go with, I just can't wait to see it.
....and buy it. -

wow!!!

Thanks Cebus!

those are nice library set ups. If a fire breaks out all you have to do is tilt the wooden units and smash your way through to safety!
PS. Make sure the sun doesn't directly hit your displays to cut fading on the packaging.
Hopefully no fires will break out but I do like the exit strategy!!This is actually in my basement so no direct sun on the packaging, my wife lets my son and I make a mess of our man cave area.

I will go first,in my boxed intv collection i have 174 games that include many box variations such as all but one sears title, white international versions of burgertime, vectron and mission x.many sports titles variation(nfl football-football) and 3 different box styles/colors of burgertime.checkers and the uk version draughts.
i am still missing alot of stuff i want like all the cbs versions of the coleco games and the few rarest ones like spiker and mud buggies and a couple homebrews

i also have about 15 systems(not shown)
Looks great Rev, we have very similiar collections. Now I have a project for this weekend.
Let's see if I can get some pictures together. Do I spot the Wing War repro box there? I didn't get around to buying it, should I? My pictures might have some of those homebrew games you're missing.
I also should do a better job displaying the variations like you have...
Cheers.
yeah,go ahead and splurge on the empty wing war box!!!!!
and i look forward to comparing our collections....snap to it!
This took a bit of work as I originally took shots with my digital camera but since the pics were all more than 2MB they wouldn't upload, so I had to use my bloody iphone. If someone could tell me how to compress them that'd be great because the brightness is so much better on the bigger ones.
First 3 shots are of my main CIB games with some 2600 stuff invading the shelves.
Next one is shot of some of my more unique stuff, homebrews, Orphan Overlays, etc. Rev might like some of these.
Fifth one is my NIB/sealed games.
Six and seven are some of my more notable loose games.
Eight and nine are some of my systems.
Ten and eleven are my extra CIB games.
I kinda like INTV.
This is what happens when you have an understanding wife and fond childhood memories of your first videogame system....and ebay.
Sorry again about the crappy picture quality, hope you guys like my collection.
-
why dont you remake of your remake and put it on a cart dude!
An atari cart? That would be impossible without completely remaking it into something less than what it is.
I'm pretty sure Rev was looking for an INTV cart, not 2600. He's a fellow INTV nut.
By the way, if it's possible to come up with a cart version for INTV, you have my $$$.

I have had several people ask if I can "just sell them a refurbished set with ball knobs and straight cords"
I have 2 set for sale with ball knobs and straight cords that I will sell.
Price is $76 + plus $7 shipping via parcel post with delivery confirmation anywhere in the USA or 1st class mail to Canada. I will send you a scan of the post office receipts in .pdf for your records.
I received my set with straight cords Saturday and they are VERY NICE! Received within days of my payment and they were well packed, so they arrived safely. I like the control knob MUCH better than the original ColecoVision knob and it feels very comfortable during gameplay. I would often loose my grip with the original controller, but this has more of a natural arcade-like feel to it. Also the straight cord is much better for me as I don't feel like the controller is constantly pulling towards the console and out of my hands. Quality construction - well done!
Thanks!!! Troy
I'd echo what Troy said, the control knob really is a lot more comfortable and Yurkie has done a fantastic job on these, worth every penny. I liked them so much I ordered a second set to go along with the Mario Controllers and 2 modded CV's, all of which I'm really looking forward to playing. As someone who doesn't have the skill set to take apart and repair/refurb classic gaming systems I can't thank guys like Yurkie enough for what they do and how passionate they are about ensuring we'll be able to enjoy classic gaming goodness for years to come.

-
Great news Luc, and they look great too!
As one of those folks who did reply I'm definitely in for all 3....and hopefully for Pitfall II as well.
Cheers, Christian

rgw825,you are off to a good start.i remember the infancy of my collection.i had a blast when i first started on 2006.i was buying gmes like crazy and then it slowed down as i started collecting the rarer ones.ahh good times.
I remember when I started collecting too, man that was fun, especially finding games you wanted as a kid and didn't get or games you'd never even played back in the day. As Rev said, great start rgw825, here's to spending tax refunds wisely..at least in the eyes of those of us on AA.

Here is a link to mine. http://www.atariage....242-collection/
I wish I still had all my boxes. My parents threw out alot of my boxes for games I was saving back in the day, across many systems.
They thought it was trash, and why did I have it boxed up.
My mom also sold my entire Star Wars collection (50+ figures & 15+ vehicals and sets)including a AT-AT for $10 at one of her garage sales...yep gotta love em.
WOW. I'm just throwin' out ideas here but I think maybe you should start collecting boxed games. I'm just sayin'.
Fantastic collection.

Gene, I think I may have bought one of those flat SP skiing boxes off you a few years back. I'm pretty sure I remember the Stadium box and instructions too and could kick myself for not bidding!
