Remember that Game Boy Camera thing?
high voltage replied to Leeroy ST's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Thanks that's a great page. I don't care much about 'licensed', it means, this device works on this hardware, no more. So for me this 'license' stamp is of no relevance. These are official releases for Game Boy: -

Pokémon: Masters ArenaPokémon: Masters Arena is a Pokémon game compilation developed by ImaginEngine designed for young children. It contains eight games, testing the players' knowledge to prove themselves as a true Pokémon Master. On mastering all eight games, the player earns 8 posters, which can be printed. Pokémon: Team TurboTeam Turbo is a Pokémon game developed by ImaginEngine that is a game compilation designed for young children. It contains five racing games which are used to earn power-ups for use in race courses. From the main menu, one can choose to do any of the 6 races, any of the 5 minigames, or do an "Adventure Mode" in which there are races in order, with minigames in between each to earn extra powerups. These two are games on PC I'm still missing -

Why did you choose the micro you bought?
high voltage replied to Keatah's topic in Classic Computing Discussion
Way back I needed a computer with WP options to write foreign job applications. I purchased an Atari 130 XE, because they (some) were sold in Germany with a US QWERTY keyboard. Also, it looked such a beautiful computer. And it had 128KB, Basic, Music capabilities and games. The XE was DM300. I also was into Mandelbrot, I was intrigued by that. I read about it in Telematch magazine, surely I can do that on my XE.... .....As I found out.....you need other stuff too. So I purchased a 1050, XC11, Seikosha printer, and The Writer's Tool (OSS). That lot was approx. DM1300. The woman in the computer store said that The Writer's Tool is the best for word processing program by far. I'd already owned a Sanyo CD3195C colour monitor, which I purchased for my Atari VCS two years earlier. I think the monitor was DM300. I was happy with my XE, learned Basic programming, making music, programming some effects I used on stage with my band (Nah, it was just a graphics program, but the XE/monitor looked cool on stage. Crowd was like...look at that, they are using computers on stage, awesome. That's showbiz**) Yeah, C64 had the more games, but it didn't have the looks. **I also used a Mattel Synsonic drums on stage once, but that's a different story -

high voltage replied to Jeremy Popp's topic in Classic Computing Discussion
I think it's just a normal Sony Discman which was used at Apple, maybe some person put an Apple sticker on it and listened to music, perhaps Beatles CDs. -
