  1. hi everyone, i will update you on the history of this. my friend scott adams was nice enough to issue me a license to port all of his games over to cartridge format in the mid 1990's. we did port some, which are on my site such as preppie and preppie II, a few sagas, the star flight one, whomper stomper, rally speedway which was already done, and some more. some we have posted on our site and have been selling for around 20-25 years now. about 10-15 years ago scott adams did away with the license fee that i paid every year on time, and just gave me the games. so i hope to resume porting of them and posting them for sale on my site. russ wetmore used to call me every new years eve in the 1990's and complain to me about the games were up for sale again. he was always 2 sheets in the wind, heading for europe to celebrate the new year. but as mr. adams pointed out, he was clear owner of them, the courts even declared it. so if someone buys them from me and posts them on e-bay, its all legal. i will soon make pandoras power star available again, i am the owner of that game also, its a lot like the saga's. lance www.atarisales.com
  2. first off let me say thanks to albert for responding to kens request so fast. i own the k-products interface, and all support software. i purchased all of bobs products in 1998, have a bill of sales and clear paper trail showing ownership. ken and i were going to upgrade the unit to be more modern, and make it available to the market. ken was not a contract programmer, he owns the internal software, i own the interface. so that download was kens legitimate property. both of us ran into some serious health problems which put us way behind. will we continue, perhaps, the market is still there. thanks, lance www.atarisales.com

The further you press left or right the faster the ship will rotate. However you can press Star (*) to change the control over to digital and it makes it behave just like the 8-bit version." thanks lance www.atarisales.com
  13. hi, thanks for your interest. peter did a really good job on this game. kamakazi helped with the joysticks, i did a little music, over all it was a good team effort. lance www.atarisales.com

  17. "Tile Smashers on the 5200 was developed with two styles of joystick control options. These are set by pressing the Star key at the Title Screen. One setting treats the joystick like a 2600 controller where the paddle moves at a set speed no matter how fast you move the joystick. The second setting treats the joystick like a paddle controller where the paddle moves in relation to the joystick's position. The speed at which the joystick is moved is also the speed at which the paddle moves on the screen. This is exactly how the paddle-joystick relationship is in the 5200's Super Breakout. Therefore the second setting takes full advantage of the 5200's analog nature with really good results. Statement from Tile Smashers' assistant 5200 developer kamakazi20012. lance www.atarisales.com
  18. it plays a lot like super breakout. the reason why i avoided the power ups at time, is because one zaps you and freezes you, you can lose a ball then. one is a smash through the tiles, instead of knocking out one tile at a time, it smashes through a bunch. i designed the game because i love pinball, and i like to watch the ball bounce around, so the smash through takes that away from me. but our beta testers liked it. so i kept it in. i only go after the free ball one if i run to low on balls, and i am getting close to smashing through to another level. the free points one i pick up a lot. i think its 17 levels if i remember right. but once you attain all 17, like most atari games, you play on and on:) its available now on the atari 8-bit on a 16k cart, and we hope to have it available sometime this year on the 5200, and we are starting work on it for the 7800. we hope to master that one also. thanks everyone for the kind words and interest, lance www.atarisales.com
  19. Hi! First off, thanks for all the kind words and support for our other up and coming Atari 5200 game releases. I think that I covered just about everything that needed to be covered in the commentary, except, that Artisan21 pointed out to me that Peter designed the splash screen and Artisan21 drew the cartridge artwork, which was based on the splash screen. Thanks for watching! Lance www.atarisales.com
  20. Hi! First off, thanks for all the kind words and support for our other up and coming Atari 5200 game releases. I need to add that this game was designed and programmed by Peter, who does such an excellent job. The only contribution that I made was the scrolls, which I had entered in the Atari 8-bit computer version of the game, "Secretum Labyrinth: The Legend." Artisan21 was the graphic artist, who always does a good job, and Kamakazi was a big help with helping us understand how to program for the 5200 game controllers. Thanks for watching! Lance www.atarisales.com
  21. i wrote some of the music, and sometimes we have to make room for the computer to do things. so sometimes there might not be as many channels being used as we want to, or a moment of silence. thanks for understanding. lancew www.atarisales.com

  24. sorry, i was the one who designed the game. it never dawned on me about 4 players. so if you want some input, please e-mail me at [email protected] i will not respond to a personal message on atariage, only via e-mail. we have a team that has input in all of the games we design and release. but we will listen to input from the public, if its kept cordial, and sent to me via e-mail. lance www.atarisales.com
