I just went to an indoor flea market, and there were 2 vendors with video games, BOTH had a heavy sixer. One hooked up running space invaders for $25 with 3 games I flipped it over and it was Hong Kong, not Taiwan! The other was a Sunnyvale for $15, I offered $10 and got it, whoo hoo. I have no idea if it works or not, it is in nice shape except for one thing, it has the "Please steal my identity" feature of the 1980s. It has someones social security number engraved on the top! Not real obvious, and I could probably remove it and make it better.
Nice find, you got a great deal. And i guess that answered that question about if their are any heavy's other than sunnyvale

Far as I know, all heavy 6ers were made in Sunnyvale, CA. There may be a piece of paper taped to the motherboard with an assembly date. Also may be a sticker with a date code on the RF modulator on the switchboard.
okay i will check that out when it comes, i thought some were made else where, i could be totally wrong...thanks for the reply...

I just purchased a heavy sixer off ebay. Great condition. I emailed the guy and asked where it was manufactored to check the label, he said there was none on the bottom. Must of been taken off, is there another way to see where it was manufactroed or serial number? thanks

I see some serial numbers ending in a different letter, (IE> e, f, g,) just wondering if there was a difference, i assume the high letter were last made? Reason i ask is, i have a guy trying to sell a 6er with ending in G...Not sure the difference.. Thanks..and sorry if it was posted, im at work and have to use my ipod. So the search function is not working..thanks again

Just wanted to know your guys best scores in this game. Reason im asking is because i can recall when i was a little one, my mom putting this game on 2 players and playing both sides, and getting two perfect games, she took pictures of the screen and everything, i have been digging through the pictures but no luck yet finding them. I will post if i can find them. I just remember thinking, my mom is the coolest.. lol..just wanted to share that part..lol

Provided I have enough TVs, I'll be adding an Intellivision and Atari 800 to the mix, although with limited library.
Also, I'm creating a DVD to show on the upstairs lounge area. It will have retro advertisements from the classic era along with some arcade related video like "Into the Valley of the Space Invaders."
After that, a showing of King of Kong...
Sounds awesome, i will be away that weekend though.. York PA here

As im sure most of us keep an inventory or our Gaming collection, How do you guys do it. IE..Do you write your games down on paper of what you have, Do you use MS Word, Exel? I was kind of looking for a program that i could get to keep it organized with a drop box to pick the console, and then manually add my games, and maybe pictures of the items.. Just would like to see what you guys use, if anything and maybe some ideas.. Thanks

Thanks again for the responses, the games are pretty much common games. Kaboom, frogger, PAC man, missle command, frogs and flies.. Etc...

Thanks I'm happy with the condition but wasn't sure if I was happy with the price because thought it was sunnyvalle.

Hello everyone,First post,Love the site... i just recently started my collection back up, i have a good bit of stuff but over the years my things started dissapearing, so the only system of the 2600 genre i still had was the JR. anyway...I just bought a 6 switch off of craigslist, I was under the impression it was a sunnyvalle. But when i got it home it was made for atari in taiwan. Its GREAT condition and came with 18 games and 3 controller and 4 paddles, oh and with the atari case station. I paid 60.. But my question is how much is the system alone worth? Being thats its not the Sunnyvalle console. Is the value a lot less? Any input is appreciated. Im thinking of reselling for a sunnyvalle.
Thanks again
