So would anyone have any idea as to the value of this cart, given its PAL not NTSC?

Most valuations if not all are for the NTSC cart..

I know it could be tricky as its a bit of a hens tooth? 🤔🐔

Value is all in what someone is willing to pay.  Even many of the rarest games have a track record for sales and putting a "value" on them are much easier.  When you are talking about a game where only 3 are known, and then throw in the fact that it is PAL, things become a bit hazy.  it has unreal rarity for sure, however, there are less PAL collectors by far than NTSC.

It is truly what someone is willing to pay

Congrats! I think it is 100% legit. For sure on of the rarest PAL games.
I doubt that it was ever sold in shops and believe in some sort of preorder back in the days.

Whoa!  Always nice to see old members come back.  Welcome back, hope all is well.

I took them from an aggregate of recently sold ebay listings for each game

I figured it was that.  The pricing looks like some sort of average.  A few things to consider, The prices you see on Ebay may include shipping as many items are listed as "Free Shipping" and the cost is built into each inflating the price to more than what it would sell for.

The second thing to consider would be condition, your carts do not seem to be in very good condition, in fact many look dirty and in poor condition.

Lastly, you are selling in a marketplace without any fees, to collectors.  You should include any selling references you may have on other websites.

If you really want to sell them, have clear pictures of the items including both labels.  Use a good camera with proper lighting and take some pictures.   Maybe browse through some other listings here in the Marketplace,  you will find many examples to use as a guide

Looking at the xonox press kit they did have some pink on their cartridges and boxes but maybe these were just prototypes? The one I have looks different from the press kit so maybe some kind of early label variation?

This one stumps me so I’ll have to go with R4 but could go much higher. Usually I can come fairly close on rarity but not this one.

I am not sure where or when this was.  I think I recall seeing a loaner cart from Xonox that had the pink label.  I am guessing early/pre-production.

I'm not so sure.  There's no indication that the price is per item, so I would assume that is the price per case.  After all, 1985 wasn't after the crash, that was right smack in the worst of it.  By that time a lot of places like Toys R Us were selling games heavily discounted, sometimes as low as $5 each.

Curt would probably know better than anyone. Even for 1985, i find it hard to believe that they were selling Track&Field with the controller for just over $2 ea.

That's almost certainly a Hozer cart, looks like this "damage" may have started by trying to remove the Hozer logo:

One way to tackle eBay items like this is to purchase it, then report it to eBay as a counterfeit item upon receipt.

That was my first thought as well.  I am assuming he is just another scammer.  He did not reply to my message yesterday asking why the game would be in an Atari cart shell.  Just add him to the list of scammers.

Yeah, that really sucks, especially given these circumstances are beyond everyone's control.  That buyer will certainly get his goods, as it's not like the packages are going into a huge shredder, at least, one would hope.  My buyers have so far been patient with me, but it's only a matter of time before one decides it's taking too long and files a claim.  I hope your item isn't terribly expensive.

     ..Al

It was $120 so nothing that will break me.  I generally don't sell anything more than that overseas.  Tracking can be very iffy in many countries during regular circumstances.  Most of my customers have been understanding as well.  Just this one that has earned a block!

That's why anything less than 99% on eBay looks bad. Even 99.3% is a red flag. Kinda Cuckoo.

It can be, yes, as Al stated, you should click on it and read what it was about.  Some people throw negative feedback at the drop of a hat without ever contacting the seller.

I bend over backwards to try to keep people happy, but you get many people who don't take the time to even message me and they open a case against you or leave bad feedback.  As a seller you then usually have to go above and beyond to try to resolve it and get the buyer to do a feedback revision.

Yeah, I'm waiting to be hit with negative or neutral feedback due to shipping delays, particularly with international sales.  Packages are often taking over a month to even leave the US (through Chicago), and I've seen delays of over two months once they hit the destination country (Germany, I'm looking at you!)  I may disable international sales on eBay for now.

     ..Al

I have an item that has been in Customs(Chicago) for 2 months now.  The buyer has opened a case against me and I will most likely lose the games and the money. 😠

I typically keep these things to myself, but I'm going to make an exception here. I'm reaching my limit with 100% feedback sellers who've been in the game for decades and pull stunts like this on buyers.

It is my strong recommendation that people avoid purchasing items from eBay seller "coolo23".

Multiple purchases of boxed games were individually sent in a paper envelope with two strips of cardboard to either side of the enclosed game (cut-down so as to be smaller than the actual box dimensions). Even though the items only had to travel about 100 miles, you can imagine the predictable results to the "package" contents from routine mail handling.

    Bad enough.

Collective hours spent in back-and-forth over a span of days with the standard eBay seller script: "I've shipped dozens of games just like this over the past twelve years to places as far away as England, and no one has ever complained ... how I packaged the games is not the problem ... clearly there's something wrong with your local mail carriers."

Finally, the seller agreed to do "whatever it took to make me happy" and directed me to return the items for a complete refund. I opted to use eBay's return process, as everything leading up to this suggested I would be a fool to trust a return outside the system.

Well, the first return was delivered back to the seller, who promptly refunded me 40% of the original purchase price with the only explanation being "per eBay policy", which, no. No, that's not right.

Now I get to delay posting the other returns until the dust settles on this one. More time wasted, I guess.

So, please, if you see something from this seller of interest, consider passing. The only boxes I know he/she (two different names are tied to the transactions) might think to use are the one I used for the return and those torn apart to provide "secure protection" inside the manila envelopes.

(I just received a "courtesy refund" from eBay for the remaining majority of the purchase price. Does anyone know whether that means the seller gets to walk off with that same amount they didn't issue back to me in the first place?)

Yes, A courtesy refund is covered by Ebay not the Seller.  I have this happen very often. I actually had three items I returned last week for this exact issue.   I rarely leave Neutral or Negative feedback, but in a case where the item arrives damaged and a seller doesn't give me 100% of the product price and shipping , they get a Neg.

I actually had a boxed game that I paid $400 for come shipped in a plain brown envelope. Not even a bubble mailer.  I am not sure how but the box still perfect.
