I Should have taken some pics of it at the local show. Many of us have seen it in Person. It is a gem!

That is what someone is asking. That is NOT the normal price. Look at completed ebay listings and they routinely sell for $100-$150. Yours is new and should fetch a premium price. $800 sounds high but, I am not an expert on 3DO and don't know what kind of premium a new one would bring.

Holy Shit! Think I paid $50 for mine.

I will leave all of that up to the buyer. I spoke with him, but it is not my place to say.

I Don't , I consider it a stand alone. I have only seen 2 in all my years collecting. I bid on a hidden one in a lot years back, only to loose by one bid to another member here. -
No, We all are entitled to our opinions. Posting them here is not going to change my opinion or yours, You can easily look up all the threads that have "made a turn for the bad" when politics were interjected into the conversation . Politics is a very 'close to the heart' type belief and many people have problems discussing it without using insults. I This is a privately owned site and the owner(AL) has decided that politics are not to be debated here. IMO this thread isn't about whether you agree or disagree with the comments. It is more about if it is appropriate to put in this type of book.

That would make sense, but it is just not the case. If you sell an item you are responsible for delivery regardless of the shipping options. Whether it be snail mail,UPS, fed ex or by horse. The item must arrive to the buyer whether they purchased tracking or not.
-
Have had many, many great transactions with Shawn. Buying, Selling and trading.
-
If you want to be able to prove hat an item has arrived to a buyer, then yes! It is your responsibility as a seller. It really doesn't matter if you agree with this or not, that is the way Ebay is set up. As a seller you are responsible for delivery of the item, it's that simple. The only way to prove such delivery is tracking(which sometimes isn't even enough) or signature confirmation. I have had tens of thousands of transactions on Ebay over the years. The carrier's performance is absolutely on the seller. I am not arguing whether it is right or wrong, that's just the way the system is set up.
-
I tried to read the whole thing, just couldn't. I really think he missed the mark here. I wont be a buyer
-
The seller is responsible for an item that is paid for to arrive. It does not matter if it has tracking or not. The use of tracking is more of a convenience for the buyer. As a seller on Ebay, it is recommended to use tracking. If there is any dispute over an item being delivered, tracking or registered mail is your only defense as the seller. If you do not use either you open yourself up to fraud where a buyer "claims" he/she never received a package and can easily walk away from an Ebay dispute with the item and a full refund. Without question, tracking is on a seller, whether it is paid for or not.

These type of blanket statements are small minded and racist. I am not sure you can report it without a phone call. There is a way to block users from messaging you. I have had to do it on a couple occasions. I don't recall how though.
