and now if I hit 2 for extended basic 2.7 it loads the cfmanager off my nanopeb.. interesting oh because there's a LOAD file on disk1.. makes sense running extended basic with that would do that.. long as I don't call menu xb2.7 works now with the rom installed Greg

Ok programmed the flash 512k installed it and the rest of the menu is working Greg

ok I did your latest.. boot without 512kprom (just atmel) and it gets me the ti basic, extended basic 2.7 startup menu, if i select 2 it locks but i can ftn = enter 1 for tibasic.. call menu.. gets the menu selecting extended basic there works.. but not much else Greg

I noticed your file democarteeprom is 12k. isnt the atmeega1284(p) 4k eeprom?

Ok so I got in 4 more atmels.. programmed it first then did the fuses, soon as i program the fuses it kablamos and can't do jack to it after that.. put it in the ti, with the rom and i get ti basic.. put it in and hold spacebar, i get easybug and run program file gonna reflash the rom and see if that is messed up Greg

Avrdude can't see my burner.. it doesn't show up as a tty device..shrug got tired of messing with it, even did the udev stuff the internets say to do.. Greg

The first chip all i did was program the flash memory.. then put it in the TI. and put it back in to check it out and it gives me the error, Failed to enter programming mode. ispEnterProgMode: Error status received: Got 0xc0, expected 0x00 the 2nd went in.. read once.. i set the fuses and clock settings to your list.. now it says that too Greg

i did your settings... in studio the clock and fuse are in the same place so it's prob the clock. Greg

Ok well .. put the first one back in the programmer, it says "nope" cant put in programming mode.. (the one i flashed b4 and installed to no avail) put in the 2nd one, stupidly did the fuse part first.. that one now cant be put in programming mode so these guys recoverable? Or did i just make 15$ of plastic waste? guess I need to buy some more G

Glad to hear it! I use a switchbox to move my hdx server to whatever machine I am connecting as I have a Pbox 4/a, Geneve, and a F18a/nanopeb 4/a all hooked to the box.. Works great. On the TI side do you have it hooked to the rs232/2 port? HDX via the DSR only works on that port. The Rs232/1 is unchanged. If you have that computer plugged in to rs232/1 then you will need to use cfhdxs1 program from Fred's site to do HDX file functions and it will ONLY work in that program.. Again.. rs232/1 - regular rs232 rs232/2 - HDX also.. you must change the options in the hdx software for com port if you aren't using the default com1. Greg
