  1. Turtles could be good ... saw that on the Spectrum, very colourful.

    Other games in my opinion which would work are;

attachicon.giffrenzy.jpg Frenzy .... this is the Colecovision version

attachicon.gifberzerk.jpg Berzerk .... now, this game has already been ported to the Commodore Vic 20 and C64, and both versions are very good, but it could be argued we might end up with an equally good version for the TI99 , as with Frenzy

(unless the 4-sprites-in-a-line thing lets us down, in that case it would be do-able for F18A)

    We have bezerk/frenzy

  2. I decided to have a small number of the 512K ROM-only boards made (20 of them) for experimentation purposes. They came out very nice, as the picture shows--and the price was very reasonable, as I paid about $7.50 each for them.

    Did you use the gerbers?

  3. I have two of these, one was the super cheap pc one, the other is the one programmed for the amiga off the code from the page above and the other for the peecee.

They do raw fat translation, so unless you are writing PC floppy images your SOL. The code could be changed to support TI formats, like he did for ADF files for the Amiga, but it would require that code change.

  4. Hi all !

    I'm new to ti99, how can I run MIRROR-C on classic99 ?

Extract files to a folder.. folder DSK1 would be easiest as it's pre-configured as DSK1 in classic 99

load classic99 - insert extended basic, select extended basic on boot menu, type in RUN "DSK1.MIRROR-C"

    (with the "s)

  5.

I came across a post somewhere explaining how to modify the Amiga so that the internal drive become switchable between df0 and dfx. I plan on doing that mod once my HxC drive comes in so I can boot adf images straight from it. BTW, I ended up scrapping the A1000 and acquiring a nice A1200 instead.

Nice.. I liked the 30 bucks price of the gotek over the 100+ for the hxc

  6. Probably clean up with some baking soda and peroxide

    Hygroden Peroxide and Baking Soda
Hydrogen peroxide and baking soda mixed together form a paste that can help remove rust stains. To create the paste, add hydrogen peroxide to baking soda and mix. You may need to add additional hydrogen peroxide to achieve an oatmeal-like thickness. Use a sponge or small paintbrush to spread the paste over the rust stain. Leave on for at least 15 minutes and remove using water and a dry cloth. Depending on the size of the stain, you may have to repeat the process. Make sure the surface is completely dry after removing the rust.
