    Cat's been missing 3 weeks now. Looks like he's finally gone. Did well enough to last 18 months with a disability after his aneurism, or whatever it was.

      Stories like this, plus experiences growing up with my mother's cats, is what convinced me that when I finally got my own cat, he was going to be 100% indoor.

    Do you ever just stop and think, "Gee, do I miss the Radio Shack of the 80s and early 90s"? I do. It was a hollowed out zombie of its former self at the end, but still.

      When I was a kid I remember Radio Shacks that had a ton of parts, ie capacitors and such.  Not sure when they stopped being that way.  They had been bad for a long long time, at least since the late 90s.  I think they started to suck even before internet retail took off. 

       

      Electronics stores used to be better in general - i can remember visits to Circuit City being a treat.  And computer stores like Egghead also.

    I played Root Beer Tapper on Colecovision today.

     

    Geez! This level lags because the background animates.

    It would be wiser to not animate the background and the gameplay won't suffer.
