    Hi Everyone,

    I rented The Getaway a few days ago, (5 day rental) and I have gotton to the 3rd mission the art gallery, and everytime I get to the basement I die. :x

    After the game gets going it gets better. :) This makes the game even better... I got to rent it for free!!!!!! :D :D It was garenteed to be in stock. :D

     

    Just messing around with the controller today I found out how to do these:

    After a vehicle has been torched you can get back in and drive off.

    If you lean against a wall, you heal yourself.

    The choke hold, snapping the neck, and useing a human as a shield is awesome!!!

    It's not as cool as I thought the commercials had led me to believe. :(

     

    Is there any good cheats?

    How do you guys hold the joystick? I have my left hand rapped around the bottom,and my right hand on the joystick. After a half hour my left hand cramps real bad, am I holding the joystick wrong? :yawn: :( :ponder: :roll: :wink: :D

    Yes, I also bought dragster for .99 cents from the same guy. He combined the shippping for both.:)

    I've been hitting yard sales, and thriftstores but no luck. :(

    So I have been Ebay hunting. :D

    Hi Everyone I have some good news + some bad news. I'll start with the good news first, bump n jump works!! :) Here's the bad news, the game doesn't work on the newer type game console like the compact version I have. :mad:

    Also I want to thank Crossbow for helping me out with figuring what was wrong with the game.:)

    So now I feel better that the games do work, and they were'nt dead.:D

    Pretty soon i'm gonna be on the hunt for a wood grain 2600 game console so I can play my Bump'N' Jump.;)

    Speaking of an arena. Has anyone ever went in the stadium in GTA3???

     

    One day I drove around using cars to give me a boost over fences. Drive a vehicle up the stadium stairs to the door, get out and jump on top of the car... Its been awhile since I did it...So you might need two vehicles...A car and a van parked next to each other. Jump on the car first, then to the van then over the fence.  

     

    Experience the weirdness!!!!

     

    I've did it.:D:D

    I hopped in the Rhino + typed in the flying code. I then turned the barrel backwards + started going around the stadium, after getting under the second story street turn around.(by the third bridge) Then start giving it the gas + punching the fire button. After the momentum has been built up just give the tank fire power. ;) At this point you should be flying through the air. 8) Now once you are highrer then the stadium, quit firing + you start coming down.(it takes a little while) Also try not to steer while in the air, or the Rhino will go out of control. When I landed in the stadium i just kept going down, next thing I know i'm coming through the bottom of the street next to the stadium.

    After I started to do missions for Ricardo Diaz, the last part of the city was opened.:) If you are leaving Prawn Island, (by the movie lot) and are headed towards downtown as soon as you cross the bridge pull the vehicle over on the right hand side, then walk towards the news station building, and walk through the front door. Now you should be on the roof, walk up the stairs to the news helicopter. Hop in + have some fun.:cool:

    Also in the downtown area there is a building you can acquire for $14,000,with a 3 car garage, and on top of the building you have your own helicopter. (close by the arena) The Police helicopter can only be accessed by another helicopter. (police helicopter is in down town) The helicopters will not always be there. There's a total of 5 or different types of helicopters on Vice City. 2 get unlock while doing missions.

    Here's the names of the helicopters: Police Maverick, Maverick, Sea Sparrow, Sparrow, VCN Maverick.;)

    You can also fly a plane too.

    Also you can deliver pizzas on a scooter that's found parked behind the pizza resturaunts.:D

    Hi Guys today I went out and bought the official strategy guide for GTA Vice City.

    This book is awesome!!!

     

    Here's the draw back, I had to return the rental last night to the video store. So now i've got the book on GTA Vice City, but no game.:(

    But the good news is I will have my own copy at x-mas. :roll: So now i'll have to suffer till x-mas.:D

    Unitil then i'll be playing my 2600. :cool:

     

    If you need help getting through a mission that is a pain,or just want to fly a helicopter let me know i'll do the best I can to help you out.

    How many own Frankenstien's Monster?

    Just curious, I remember when it had first came out.

    The only way you could have purchased it new was if you bought a pizza at Pizza Hut.

    I forget what my folks paid for it new in 82-83.

    Man, where does the time go? :D
