What's the best way to revive a game?
VideoGameFreek replied to VideoGameFreek's topic in Atari 2600
You've got mail. David -
I like all the games I have for the 2600, but the only one I don't like right now is Starmaster from activision. All my copy does is fly through space. I like things I can destroy. Can anyone tell how you play this game? Thanks, David

A update on the Bump'N' Jump from mattel. I have 2 copies that I have cleaned 3 times each, and I still get a black screen, a yellow striped screen, or a redish/orange stripe screen. It only does this on the other games if they're not fully pressed down, but the bump'n'jump is fully pressed down. The tip of the contacts looks like there is alot of wear (tapered) so i'm thinking that might be the problem with it, but I feel that maybe something on the circuit board. Or should I just toss these two copies in the trash, and find another one? What do you guys think? David

Hi guys, On my tv there is only a cable hook up, I rigged another connector on the end of the A/V, and It works great but when watching tv some channels are fuzzy. What's the best way to hook up the A/V to the tv? Has anyone here hooked up the Atari 2600 to the back of the VCR, and if so how did you do it? Also the last few days I have been getting a guy talking on a cb radio through the tv while i'm playing the atari 2600. David

Hi Everyone, I've been really wanting to play Bump'N'Jump for a long time now. Everytime the power is on, the screen is black. I even cleaned it, same thing. Can these games wear out from playing them too much? This is the only game I cannot play on the 2600. David
