  1. I thought I'd look at a TI-99/4A Console, which only shows black Screen when switching on .
first I had changed the TMS9918A in this PAL Machine, nothing - Screen black

then I changed the SN76494N, and now - the original TI-99 Welcome screen

    what is this Chip

  2. hi

if you come to Germany you must visit the Drums Museum in Ludwigsburg near Stuttgart

This is supervised by a good Friend, it is the only one Drums Museum in Germany !

There were already great drummers here (Carl Palmer, Carmin Appice, Ian Paice,Terry Bozzio, Chad Smith, Nicko McBrain and many more !)

Here is a drum set that once played legendary Led Zeppelin Drummer John Bonham, he gave it to Keith Moon :)

Ian Paice of Deep Purple is the Patron from this Drum Museum, I've already met him there

    here the Side on Facebook

    Hi Fabrice,

Did you already find the TI-Revue articles?

I found an article in TI-Revue 5/85, where Heiner Martin published his his GROM module (8k GROM + 8k ROM) schematics and the PCB.

Additionally there are articles in TI-Revue 6/87 (which resides in the magazine HCA). Reiner Zigler tells us there how to build a module expander (a small hardware which generates additional GROM base addres select lines) and how to expand the previously mentioned GROM module to 40k GROM.

    Do you need these articles?

I have the TI Part from the German Magazin HCA as PDF Scan here

  4. Hi, here - maybe - is another special from the

ASGARD / WINFRIED WINKLER: XB3 - Extended Basic III

At Birkenau´s Meeting, Bernhard and I, we could read out the XB3 cartridge with the Wiesbaden Supermodule II v2.1

using this special Widget I brought along. OK, Bernhard did ;)

I think, Rudi gave this widget to me, some years ago.

I am not sure if I understood that correct, but up to now it was a problem to read out the XB3 (and carts like this?) because of "the widgets" ?

By the way, so or so, with this widget we could switch that cartridges while reading out, without getting any errors.

And Bernhard also did more some work on that in the past, reading out the Eproms and so. I don´t know. You will know :)

In advance, I have also unpacked his DSK-files with TI99DIR, but I am not sure if this was really needed :0)

So here are the results now, maybe some of you wizards can use that to get it running on the UberGROM, FinalGROM´99, Emus,

or whatever, or can use that in any way, if not given :)

    Have fun

    xXx

Update: the XB3-files here are same version as the well-known ones, so the "Call Coinc" crashes too...

Maybe this can be fixed ?
