  1. My First crack... Football (American) - 105 Space Shooting - 61 (one player only) Sub Shootout - 37 Maze (Aka AD&D 1 (one player only))
  2. Welcome to the home of tv-poww (pixx for NYC players), the games played via tv on the Intellivision console. As we have 4 games (Football, space, sub and maze), each version will be scored. As well, as there will be a fifth and final point table for the best overall (will be ranked by position in each of the 4 games). As there is 4 games, each of the 4 disciplines will score (5,4,3,2,1) with 1 for everyone after 5th for participation. The overall point table will score on the normal (10,9,8,6,4,2,1) with 1 for everyone after 7th place. Good Luck to all... Scores will be accepted until Sunday, August 25th, 2013 @ Noon Central. 3. Yes, had a family emergency, which made me miss out posting... Game closed.
  4. As far as I've known, it doesn't stick there forever (must be done in conjuction with ramping up the right ramp to have the 10 point spinner spin). I've never had it stick, can you do a video of it?
  5. While looking for an answer to Ig's question, came across this helping post from one of the previous playings of Pinball... Due to not doing well at the tournament Im at, this game is getting my 100% attention breaking it down each and every piece of it. So in that vain, here's some more tips... Level 1 (Green) : for about 95% of the time, you DO NOT want to be here (only place you can lose your ball), however there is one thing you can score, and that's the lovely "gold ball"!!! Nailing the bars on the top left side, you get not only a handful of incrementers, but you also get a nice multiplier and double scores for the rest of the ball. Level 2 (Orange) : This is where you can pick up a bloody billion points, incrementers and multipliers, so this a great board to hang out on. First off, spelling "P-i-n b-a-l-l" nets you a bonus multiplier (P-i-n) stays lit once earned, (b-a-l-l) will remove if you go over it the 2nd time. In addition, nailing all four targets on the top left sets yourself up for a fifteen second chance at the moving target. Nailing the target gets you 25,000 points and once again, a nice bonus multiplier. Finally, taking the ball into the claw on the right hand side three times lights the middle bumpers and gets you a multiplier and three incrementers. Good thing here, is EACH additional hit on the claw gets you THREE MORE incrementers and ANOTHER multiplier! Level 3 (Blue) : The final board, while can be a major pain, can also net you the two nicest bonuses in the game, an extra ball and a free 150,000 points while letting you re-earn the bonuses (normally you'd be capped at 5x and 30 incrementers). To complete this (the pictures above) is by making the INTV's version of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles appear by clearing the four yellow targets in the top middle of the board. Each time you complete it, you'll light the turtle (starting at spot 1, thru spot 6) (middle is a spot, and far right is one) Once completing this, the hole in the top right appears. First hit nets your number turning red (extra ball), and the 2nd time clears (and pays you) the bonus. Once the bonus is paid, you can start earning your 5x/30 again. Any other questions on this game just ask.
  6. yes, the PS on I believe it was the 5th complete trip... Maybe INTVDude can post a link, it's his livechat.
  7. watch my video on Nerdgasms! live cast, I lost ALL SIX (6) LIVES ON THAT (platform being ripped - none left to reform on) on my post.
  8. usually only PC/MAC emulation (Nostalgia/jzintv) - esque or original console is allowed. As far as I was told, the INTV lives on consoles PS2, Gamecube, DS are not pure emulations of the titles... let me look into it and I'll get back to you... in the meantime, anyone's thoughts on this, feel FREE to post here.

  10. Bounce that ball, hit the targets!!! Get that gold ball, and unlock the magic of the turtles on the third table! Scores will be accepted until Sunday, August 11th, 2013 @ Noon Central. INTV Lives on PS2/DS will not be allowed for any future play on the HSC. PC/MAC emulation and actual hardware to play. 11. updated as of this post... also due to one of our players issue with a holiday trip, I might put the next game up tonight... stay tuned... PS - Felson, VPINMAME for that project? PPSS - If you want to see the final run of the 3 levels it was streamed LIVE on the "We Are Nerdgasm" stream, starting from the easter egg in level 3, so the game cheapily killing me off on the ice bridge level, taking every single life in one time.
  12. Nope... under 6 you gain a life if you go thru the 3 segments (Caribou / Ice Bridge / Castle) without losing a life... Dunking to reset the ice bridge timer DOES NOT disqualify you from earning that free life.
  13. To a point it is, the game within reason randomizes to a point how many caribou charge you on section 1, affecting the score... Also, depending on how nasty your section 2 is, the score can be affected there as well. Section 3 (Castle) has no effect, as you only score when taking out a segment, and not for hitting the spiders (I've always called them that)... BTW - A little trivia/trick you may/may not have known... you can actually take out ALL four turrets on section 3 and NOT have the castle melt.... In this case, the black spider/snowflakes come at you from above where the turrets would be, dead center of the castle. (top red section above the 2/3 white blocks)
  14. Opening salvo... 25,790... Another kick to add to Ig's posts... in the later levels, the icebergs sway further up and down, and even to one a level above can take out part of your bridge
