  1. I wouldn't be suprised... as Mattel wanted to have all music used be public domain and/or as cheap as possible... Music 180 years old would most likely be public domain.
  2. First salvo (while playing the 1/4mill on stars) 60,440
  3. yes, Bobbie Pin (ladies use it to hold hair in certain patterns)... Crooks (like Lupin) can use it to pick a lock, hence why its in the game
  4. I was, and even tapping it for youtube, but the emu (Nostalgia 5) crashed at the end of level 2 (even had a nice TRIPLE cop lockup on level 2) Will get a complete game shortly.
  5. Classic, get a hold of the 2nd version of the LNC bin file then, Connie over at Mattel got to do a 6K re-release of the game (the original was crammed into 4K) in which Lupin does not stop dead if you press too early on a corner, and also does the nice "arcade" fall into hat death animation. You'll know you got the right bin file as the original 4K only has the Mattel Copywrite info, while the 6K version has both Data East and Mattel copywrite info on the title screen. (Since someone was nice with recording software, I'll get Youtube videos up of both so u can see the difference.)
  6. Depends, if your doing it from a pure collecting standpoint, nothing beats SIB (Sealed in Box), but for those who love the time/games, nothing like opening something that nobody has ever done before, and who knows you could find something in there that wasn't supposed to be there (mistakes do happen)
  7. Level 2 - Why no lock in of the Red cop in the top left corner after the first $? It would of made it a lot easier for ya Also, it left that left tunnel for end, so that wasn't good... Level 3 - To which it looks like you fixed it all, but for the run in with blueie right at the end of the level Level 4 - It seems your getting right into the groove as you go on... the doors are your friends BTW, the secondary object is not really worth it until at least the camera (1,000) and then the bobby pin on up (with exception of the lamp 400)... Yes scoring on the secondary object is not anything like Pac-Man, the objects are not anywhere near linear.
  8. I dont doubt you on thats a pattern, but you lucked out on the 4th $ there, and the duck back on the 2nd I think was a lil ingenious, I'll have to say. The problem I have with recording from emu is I find out it comes out way slowed down in comparison to audio etc... How do you do it and I'll put a video up.
  9. your close, but your pattern leaves one major problem... you leave a tunnel undone early on with only 1 entrance exit (the 2 long tunnels next to the $) That and I highly suspect the top Twin Galaxies scores here (unless TG is now allowing the tunnel rackup, cause 888k???) lol
  10. yes that is the bobby pin ( gotta love 1982 graphics)
  11. no the cash is vital 4 top scores, cause its not until the bobby pin that the secondary target worth anything decent.
  12. I got patterns that fall apart just around the purple bobbie pin level... maybe I'll have to record something
  13. yay is right, and disc speed too going to be playing soon
  14. let me give all a hint... avoid crashing a single car for the level and get 50,000 pts Just like the arcade
  15. Here's my first shot for the challenge, been ages since I played this one... 52,920 is the opening salvo.
  16. Whoa... if their TVs run PAL, they be getting the European versions of consoles, not the USA versions. It does seem you fried it, try to get a UK INTV system, you'll probably be better off for your region
  17. I may finally have to put a few thoughts to code... interesting suggestion Rev...
  18. As I said Jacob I didnt do it on purpose, but didnt see why to hit the reset button, and came upon this. Now, one question, since we're done with this I have, someone wrote to dodge left/right until you get it (ship) to be light blue... But I always stayed on line with the red targets and just went up/down to destroy the ships as they came. Anyone else doing the up/down instead of the sideways?
  19. Current Conversion puts 50 quid at $75.11(13) at the current rate as of July 12th at 1:52 UTC of $1.50223 per quid.
  20. while I didnt try to (the game didnt give the beep beep beep in time to do so), but I believe (nothing to prove it), but if u nail both ships each time (without getting damaged to prevent some shots), the 2 ships can get u about 50-120 above 8k per wave, requiring of course both to be blown up each time, and also dispatching quickly to get some 2 sets of ships per red target. Also, the theoretical max I believe u could take it is to target #13 (3rd target, 3rd time thru) as after the 2nd time thru 4th one, the earth is lined up with the trench and any miss = auto planet loss.
  21. Finally, missed the first, but nailed the rest 2-6 to get this score... 8,326!
