Agreed bacteria... and surprisingly the INTV version plays better IMO than the arcade release from DECA.

Season 1 Game 8 *Donkey Kong Junior*
cparsley replied to Mister VCS's topic in Intellivision High Score Club
All I can say, those who say Coleco didn't make inferior DK ports to other systems to prop up their sales, DK JR is EXHIBIT A B and C! Terrible Controls, the music is even OUT of sync, and fall all the way, but if you hit the trampoline, your fine? (Note this happens cause u dare to move while grabbing 2 chains above the tramp, mind you! -

Does this ONLY work on the Cuttle Cart, as I cant get Nostalgia to run it. -

it’s sooooo quiet you can hear a pin drop....
-
I guess without a video the best I can do now is tie you
-
Heads up Gene for the million score, if you get it, I think you must take the pic on the main screen where it shows the “power on” high score, as I believe that’s the only place the extra digit is available (I think, let me check on that)

Tonight's foray into this, who's going to get the mill first...

Yes, the ECS belongs (and it's not the ESC as the OP has on the title), so to answer your question, yes, it qualifies.

Check ahead at the motel, most do not have connector cables anymore that’ll connect an old school console to the hotel tv’s (regardless of being the VCS or INTV)
-
The highest the scorers can go is 5x - 30 per ball (so 150,000 in bonus points per ball) Now, however, I’ll give you a new thing to wrap your brain on... there *IS* a way to earn a 6th ball in this game :) Maybe I’ll have to kill myself to try to get it (and videotape it)
-
That would depend on what you already have. If you don’t have the cart of say, Congo Bongo, just the “cart only” option is a step up in the collection As for me, I definitely do “want my intellivision” or was that Need My Intellivision :)

I was giving you credit for it (yesterday as I looked it at it work), but when I got home my mind was like, a six? Really? hehe..... Good one Rev Now lets see you get there :) As My goal, joke or not on ur side, is to beat that to show it can be done (doubt I’ll make it but who knows)
-
ummm, rev, after looking at your score.... a final digit of 6 isn't possible... What gives?
-
lol Pat, I love your image... To guarantee a min of 1,210 per ball hold the plunger all the way down (as it will bounce on the purple and blue targets and go into the ball save hole on the left As for the ball flying over the left/right side, remember aim low whenever in doubt (hitting towards the very bottom of the flippers will keep the ball hugging the side so it wont go over the side as much. As for scoring, get out of the first level as soon as possible, as the only real scorer on the first board is the gold ball targets on the top left (where you have 3 left in your picture). Each one give you a bonus 1000pt credit at the end of the ball, and finishing the series will give you a bonus multiplier as well as the red target to net a gold ball, where all scores are doubled for that ball... As for you, Rev, I love a challenge... and here goes to reaching a million (and TG status) before the week is out

I am willing to give lessons

Let's take it up, shall we... 268,210 a lot of level 2 playing (including nice 25k pickups for the moving target)

Evidence that INTV Donkey Kong was intentionally crap
cparsley replied to Rev's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
still the DK purists will get on you as the orientation ends wrong, as DK should be top left instead of top right on the girder level. -
Point Master Quik - Stik Joysticks
cparsley replied to Christoph's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
These things were manufactured by many companies in the early 80s to give the INTV controllers a more "VCS" feel by removing the disc and snapping on a joystick on them. Most of them were clumsy and rather terrible considering the other controls one usually needed on a INTV game, and I personally never found a set that was better than the straight disc.
