USCF Chess - see Checkers. If you want to be super-picky, you could say you have to beat the computer on the highest difficulty with the Black pieces.

Loved this!

What about Swords & Serpents? It has a clear ending, though you can't actually kill the dragon... still, we can say the game ends when facing the dragon?
-
no problems on the other side of the other pond too!

-
Hope to find it over here too (many good bookstores that were carrying RetroGamer closed recently
). really looking forward to reading this! -
We should bumb this every few years

-
That was an epic surprise package! Btw, I really like the pencils!!

-
Just picked a loose copy of Spiker
. For a game that rare (and pricey) I wasn't gonna be too picky on a box. Now that I have that and my boxed Mud Buggies (courtesy of Cmart) my Intellivision collection is going to be a lot easier to finish!Congrats!!
I'm afraid I'll never get all the 125 as games like Spiker and Mud Buggies are getting too rare/expensive to buy online and here there are no chances to find them in the wild
Anyway, one cart at a time and we'll see. I'm not in a hurry

Delicately put, you'll find that Football Manager will sorta be a nogo for most folks. the primary collection audience seems to be the US, and we find soccer boring enough without not being able to actually PLAY.
Right... what about a Ice Hockey Manager game then?

Actually, making a simple old school RPG might be possible too...
-
I like the football manager idea! And a simple football manager game, like the original one, can be written in basic so I guess it will be much easier to develop, at least for people like me who have never been that good with assembly

take a pic of your shirt with the button it!
and, most importantly, wear it and show it off!

-
I would just put the logo in the left pocket area.
Right on the heart

What about the black screen (of death)? One of my systems suddenly went black... this is what can also happen with dirty carts/contacts but I clean everything carefully and tried several carts so it shouldn't be the case this time. Any suggestions on possible causes/fixes?

PM sent, thanks!

The late 70s/early 80s were really like the"Belle Epoque"/"Gilded Age" of the early XX century, where the optimism and excitement for what the future was going to bring us reached new heights. In one word... great video!
And now if Mattel would finally put their act together and deliver a proper Keyboard Component with a built-in Sony's blu-ray drive making the SonyVision 2.0....

Too bad all this happened just before the crash. it still amazes how no one saw that coming...
-
Got it and finished reading it already!
At times it seemed like some references were a bit forced and not really necessary (making the narration not as smooth as it could have been) but, nonetheless, this is really a page turner for us old retrogamers and I truly enjoyed reading it. Highly recommended!

Ga-lah-ga all the way for me, (maybe ga-gga-ga if I have a particularly bad cold...

Try Montezuma's Revenge! that's one of my personal favorites

Everyone who requested a button, it is on the way!
(except roberto, i will pm you about those games!)
Yeah, let me know!

BTW, I checked for the t-shirts on that website I linked in my previous post: I added our brotherhood logo to the front of a black tee and the price would be US$17.40 (plus shipping, I guess). How does this compare to the prices of actual shops?
Cheers!

Micket bra! Jag alskar dig!! (... and that's (almost) all I can remember after having worked/studied in Stockholm for 6 months years back...

Ahh! The mighty power of the Intellivision!
I did like the second pic: made me wonder whether they were trying to play B-17 with the AD&D overlay or the other way round!

-
That's cool!
Anyway, regarding the t-shirt, I found this website were it's possible to design our own t-shirt, graphics included.
http://www.spreadshirt.com/create-your-own-t-shirt-C59
What do you think? Could this be a possibility?

2 player would be fine too! Slightly off topic, what game is furthest along amongst your 7800 games?
Wow! 7800 games under production simultaneously! That's multitasking!!

There's one currently on Ebay eBay Auction -- Item Number: 110832686183
: I thought of bidding since I'd actually love to play this (it's another game where the Inty showed it was so much ahead of its time. Amazing!) but i doubt I'll ever be able to get the keyboard...
