  1. Great video and amazing package/box! Cmart is clearly the best place for Inty stuff worldwide!
  2. Added my small contribution and support! Really looking forward to reading this this summer!
  3. Since I recently got the ECS, I'd like to start getting its dedicated games. Other objectives I have in my list are finishing the CIB Activision titles (I just need a Worm Whomper box, without considering the prototypes, of course) and get more Imagic games (Dracula, Truckin, White Water...). Enough to keep me busy, I guess!
  4. I wasn't aware of this project: what's been done so far is amazing! I'm sure, when it will be completed, the result'd be way better than Nukem Forever!
  5. I wonder what he will do if these auctions ends cheaply: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 130621921315 and eBay Auction -- Item Number: 130621922362 He is selling a Stadium Mud Buggies and a NIB Melody Blaster and, less than 4h before the ending, price is still extremely low (MB is... $2.25 only!). Clearly it will rise but I doubt he will get what he expects. I was actually tempted to bid but don't want to be quoted a $200 shipping charges to Singapore!
  6. That's a question worth being included in the next exam paper for my Game History class!
  7. Let me know your impressions once you read it! Cheers!
  8. Thanks for the reply. I did try to clean everything first before using it but I see there was still some dirt and now the image is somewhat better. I guess I'll need to keep cleaning and cleaning the contacts! Actually, I noticed the contacts in the slots and carts alike gets dirty very fast and need constant cleaning... is this mostly due to the humid weather we have here (though I put dehumidifiers everywhere!) or is this a common issue for everyone? cheers!
  9. Hello guys, This Christmas I finally opened my NIB ECS and I'm playing around with it to see if I'd be able to do some simple homebrew game with it in the future: the first impression I had was that, while the Basic language is, well, quite basic, the possibility of grabbing existing games' graphics is really cool and, in a way, the ECS feels like an actual gaming console SDK! Anyway, not everything is going smoothly. While my Inty is working properly and image quality is good, once I connect the ECS to it and switch it on (btw, thanks for pointing out there should be a cart in: it's written only in the Errata leaflet included with the manual and it's easy to miss it!), the image quality gets seriously disrupted, fuzzy and with static vertical bars all across the screen... Anyone experienced anything similar? Happy holidays!
  10. shèngdàn kuàilè xīnnián kuàilè, INTV xiōng dì huì!
  11. Ok, as 2011 is drawing to an end and the next parcels I'm waiting will surely arrive in 2012, let's post a pic of my current INTV boxed games collection. It's still small but I'm putting lots of effort in expanding it and making it nice (Congo and Thin Ice boxes are repro though) PS. adding my book to it doesn't want to be a form of "subliminal advertisement" kind of thing but it actually has the purpose of hiding a dehumidifier tank
  12. Welcome and merry Christmas!!
  13. Merry Christmas to all Classic Gamers and Collectors!

  14. well you should hate which direction we are going, cause the direction we are going leads straight to your house with our torches and pitch forks. you have committed high treason. As a punishment, you should get this thing ( ) and print t-shirts for all members!
  15. Great! I'd definitely get one (L size for me, I'm on a diet and don't want to get bigger than this!! ) The design with BurgerTime is F A N T A S T I C !! Which one are we going to do in the end? BTW, I'm fine with any color choices, both for the tee and for the shield background. In the original logo design, though, be aware that red and green is a very troublesome combination for people who are color blind (having been involved in game development for people with accessibility problems, I'm aware of potential issues and how frustrating all this can be for them). Red and Blue might be a safer choice INTV Brotherhood rules!
  16. This looks like the kind of talks I'd love to see at GDC someday! Really looking forward to see the video recording, please let us know when it's ready. Cheers!
  18. Annual (virtual) get-together party with pizza, drinks and INTV games!!
  19. :-o Once I get a couple of "things" I'm really waiting for and assemble the new shelf bought at Ikea last week, I promise I'll post my updated collection too though, obviously, I won't compare with anything seen in the previous posts (I have 2 CIB LAPBJ + 1 loose only! )
  20. He's had that for sale for a long long time. That man is the Odyssey hoarder. There has been many posts of disdain for him and his prices. Actually, the fact he adds a loose Poker & Blackjack to a $2,000 lot is quite funny... is that the "icing on the cake"?
  21. Right but, actually, using a second analog stick to map the numeric pad would work very well for games like AD&D
  22. That's easy! Use one of those circular pads like in some handheld games. you mean using an analog stick like in the PSP to map the 1-9 buttons (5 mapped by pressing the stick)? And then have proper buttons for 0, Clear and Enter only?? And left-right side buttons mapped as shoulder buttons/triggers??? That's an exciting idea!! Otherwise, besides using real controllers, a touch screen (as used on the DS for IntellivisionLives!) seems like the best theoretical choice...
