  1. Ok, as 2011 is drawing to an end and the next parcels I'm waiting will surely arrive in 2012, let's post a pic of my current INTV boxed games collection. It's still small but I'm putting lots of effort in expanding it and making it nice (Congo and Thin Ice boxes are repro though)

PS. adding my book to it doesn't want to be a form of "subliminal advertisement" kind of thing but it actually has the purpose of hiding a dehumidifier tank ;)

  2. I just want to say that I disagree with all the brotherhood's policies and directions and I hate nachos!

well you should hate which direction we are going, cause the direction we are going leads straight to your house with our torches and pitch forks. you have committed high treason.

As a punishment, you should get this thing (

) and print t-shirts for all members! :D

  3. Great! I'd definitely get one (L size for me, I'm on a diet and don't want to get bigger than this!! :P )

The design with BurgerTime is F A N T A S T I C !! Which one are we going to do in the end?

BTW, I'm fine with any color choices, both for the tee and for the shield background. In the original logo design, though, be aware that red and green is a very troublesome combination for people who are color blind (having been involved in game development for people with accessibility problems, I'm aware of potential issues and how frustrating all this can be for them). Red and Blue might be a safer choice ;)

    INTV Brotherhood rules!

  4. Wont the hardest part be mapping the Contoller buttons to a non-intellivision controller?

That's easy! Use one of those circular pads like in some handheld games.

you mean using an analog stick like in the PSP to map the 1-9 buttons (5 mapped by pressing the stick)? And then have proper buttons for 0, Clear and Enter only?? And left-right side buttons mapped as shoulder buttons/triggers???

    That's an exciting idea!!

Otherwise, besides using real controllers, a touch screen (as used on the DS for IntellivisionLives!) seems like the best theoretical choice...

  5. Wont the hardest part be mapping the Contoller buttons to a non-intellivision controller?

Right, and two built in controllers might not be feasible. I guess it should be a console only with 2 plugs to attach "real" Inty II style controllers?

  6. Eventually, to be a little safer, I'd suggest you redo the image by placing the game covers in a different order so it becomes your own "interpretation" of a previous work. This is a common practice in the music recording industry for using artwork in the covers and booklets which is "inspired" by other works.

    Cheers!

  7. seems like he blocked the contact seller option?

Just click on the "ask a question" in his auction.

I did, as usual, but then I get a notification saying "Unfortunately, this seller is not able to respond to your question" and I am not allowed to contact him directly by writing a message.

  8. CIB Fathom starting with a bid of $4.99 only! eBay Auction -- Item Number: 2609163303131?ff3=2&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&item=260916330313&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER].

While I don't need Fathom anymore, this guy is also listing quite a few other Imagic games I'm interested in but he doesn't look like he ships internationally and I couldn't even send him a message asking for it (seems like he blocked the contact seller option?). Well, I guess he won't get my money (nor any help in pushing up the prices :P ) .

    Cheers!

  9. Even though I probably come off as sounding like an idiot or a jerk, I always ask the seller not to ship in the original box or to put tape on it. Only about half of them reply, but that's a lot better than taking my chances.

Yeah, especially when dealing with sellers with only a few feedbacks and who are not into video game collecting. Lesson learned.
