  1. MG produced and marketed a mod for the CorComp RS232 that resolved the shared interrupt line conflict between the RS242 and the AVPC 80-column card. It worked with or without the AVPC installed. I am hoping that someone in the community still has the RS232 from which I could get the .bin code. We have the mods for both the TI and Myarc versions but NOT the CorComp version.
  2. Back in the day, there were modifications made to the DSR for the TI RS232 card that mitigated the conflict in the shared interrupt line between the TI RS232 and the 80-column AVPC card. I am looking for the CorComp version (which I know exists as referenced in an invoice). Since the mod operates with or without an AVPC card installed, I hope that someone still has it in their P-Box even though their AVPC may be long gone. Please contact me if you have the DSR on your RS232 card. Thanks!
  3. Replacing the EVEN/ODD console ROMs is a straight forward process. After removing the old, defective ROMs, solder in a low profile 24-pin socket for each (preferably a machine screw socket). Orient the sockets in the same direction as the original chips. You can't use any 4K EPROM. For example, 2732 EPROMs WILL NOT work without an adapter. Get a couple of TMS2532 EPROMs which are pin-compatible with the original ROMs. Burn the attached code into the TMS2532s and insert them in the corresponding sockets and you are good to go. Tony Knerr come up with an adapter for the TL866CS/A that allows you to program the console ROMs. Use a "TI 2732A " as a template - they program very nicely at 21V, BTW. ti_evenrom_u610.bin ti_oddrom_u611.bin
  4. Software updated to Vn 12.60 on 08/03/2023. Support lists remain at Vn 12.59 levels. Version: V12.60 2023.8.3 Fix the problem that crashes Vn 12.59 when "Check ID" is selected.
  5. The programmer software has been updated to Vn 12.59A on 07/31/2023. However, there is a note that the "ID check" function causes the program to crash. I am not sure if "12.59A" is a fix for the original Vn 12.59 upgrade. Numerous chips added. The designated version is "Vn 12.59" but the download is labelled as "Vn 12.59A". 6. I salute your ingenuity! The fix is a relatively simple one, however. TI made the EVEN and ODD byte console ROMs (in both the 4 and 4/A) pin-compatible with their TMS2532 EPROMs. As a result, the EPROMs are direct "drop ins" for the ROMs. However, 2732 EPROMs do not work without an adapter so even were you able to program them, they wouldn't have worked. Remove the defective ROMs and solder in a 24-pin socket for each. Then, simply insert a programmed TMS2532. The repair is complete without any additional wiring or other extraordinary efforts.
  7. A byte by byte comparison of the file that I posted (from my inventory) and the original file created by Gazoo revealed that they are identical. I surmise that there might be a problem in your disk system - something strange going on with DSK2.
  8. I have messaged Jon for his copy to see if there is a difference between his and the copy that I have (and got so many years ago)
  9. I think it was thoroughly tested at the Chicago Fair before it was released - ask Jim. It was a combined project between Gazoo, Jon Guidry, and Jim. They stopped by for me to burn an EPROM so they could test it.
  10. Through my alter ego, Hummingbird Eproms, I can supply a wide range of DSRs for TI/Geneve cards and peripherals. I have attached a list below. In addition, almost all of the cartridge .bin files that have appeared on this site that are not being marketed by the authors, are also available. They can be ordered directly from me or through ARCADE SHOPPERS website. Contact me for pricing and availability. Thanks, EPROM List.pdf
  11. I was just about to answer - I can burn those.
  12. Here is the 32K .bin for Stargazer 1, 2, and 3. stargazer_3in1_8.bin
  13. The dog ate my. . . works with homework but not with other things.
  14. Anyone know which one is the EVEN and which one is the ODD console ROM? There are two - one to the right of the 9900 and another in the row below it.
  15. You are probably better off ordering ATMEGA chips from Digi-Key or Mouser.
  16. They are direct pin-for-pin drop-ins.
  17. The code is available for both EVEN and ODD byte console ROMS. BTW, the 6810s can be substituted with TMS2532 EPROMs. I have both.
  18. Digi-Key has just over 5,000 in stock while Mouser is out of stock until September 2nd according to their website.
  19. For those of you looking for ATMEGA1284P chips for the Ubergrom cartridge, I have found a domestic source for them. They are available at Digi-Key for about $7.30 in small lots. This is substantially less than the Chinese Ebay sources. I used the USPS shipping option and they arrived in 3 days. Mouser has them but they are out of stock until September.
  20. I downloaded your DSRDUMP file and split it into two 8K chunks and found that there are a couple of minor variations from the files that I have. I suspect that they are to accommodate the FDC on your controller (which was an early version). There were undoubtedly some circuit changes because of it. As Shakespeare wrote "therein lies the rub".
  21. Here is the DSR Dump series - they are "Load and Run" from F'web. DSRDUMP.dsk
  22. I'll send you a DSR dump that works only from F'web (uses some utilities from the F'web kernel).
