nothing has changed for any of these threads since opcode doesn't keep busy in these forums. So just like all the other ones that say sign up if you are interested they are all just pipe dreams and sign up if you are interested with the realization that nothing may ever happen.

you should probably use a higher skill level so the people that are good at this game do not run into the bug at the higher point levels that freeze the game.

one thing to note, the colecovision flashback is pretty bad compared to all the other flashbacks so you might get more idea if you like colecovision by playing the emulators on the computer since they will look, sound, and play the same as the authentic colecovision. The reason I say that is because the colecovision flashback does not do any of that well. It is good for someone who has never seen the real games probably but I would not consider it a good advertisement for the colecovision considering the colecovision is way better.

Not interested because I have my original from 82 CIB but just thought I would help you with pricing. The wildly different pricing has to do with 1. Is it a tested and known working condition colecovision (this will wildly change the price as nobody can trust it works if you do not test it and say it works) 2. The condition of the Box, does it come with everything , styrafoam, warantee card, manuals 3. The condition of the colecovision, is it beat up or does it look pretty good. Usually the most costly effect of the price being low is if you are not going to test and confirm it works then nobody will pay a high price for it. Also people can't really give you offers if you don't put a picture up so they can see it for themselves

pretty much all the second hand controllers suck compared to the originals, which of course everyone always says how much they hate the originals. Yurkie and other have modded the original colecovision controllers with a ball knob instead of the flat saucer. This makes the controller awesome in my opinion and I think everyone would have loved the coleco controllers if coleco had used this setup instead of the one they chose. Pretty much everyone has said the wico controllers aren't fun and I think most people have them just to have them as part of their collection and don't actually use them.

If you do get it fixed use another controller in that socket. Maybe the contoller keeps breaking it?

welcome besides the atarmax giving you the ability to get games and homebrew roms that would be impossible to get the games cheap, it also comes with Mario Bros and Mr Chin both great homebrew games.

I use same as tron unit uses. I like them. The only problem is the bigger boxes I don't have protectors for those.

you can find info in the opcode forum. MX2 compatibility was one of the would love to have suggestions and was never a definite feature. Also nothing was a definite feature because nothing was even close to even creating a prototype. Considering it is also an opcode project and he is never around anymore it is pretty much guaranteed that this will never happen or if it did happen then you are talking decades before you see it.

It is a genius business model that has reached every inch of the stupid consumer market. Oh the new phone has 2 more megapixels than my old phone, bam new phone bought. The new consumer market is gotta have newest revision and be the talk of facebook or twitter. This is in fact the correct path. Look these companies can make a huge jump technology wise or feature wise but if they do that then what are they going to do for the next product. So they just inch along every year and get the gerbils to keep buying the next new item. I am glad I didn't grow up like that and don't do that. I save a lot of money that way so I can buy my 30 year old high priced coleco CIBs.

Ah to me that sounds like maybe they were possibly talking about the second release of the flashback since they said with some additional titles aka games maybe ? it is pretty cool that you got a response though

I hope another one opens up, we have gone from 3 big publishers to 1 big publisher. Granted there are a couple guys here and there publishing their own games and do a good job but it is not the same as our big 3 were. Thanks for all your hard work but it will also be a very sad day to no longer see Pixelboy publishing releases.

I thought something was up because I am not one to put in low bids. Granted I have pretty much everything but the few things I wanted I put very high bids and only one 1 item that I won. I was told I won another one and then all of a sudden he said he made a mistake and that one was gone. Almost like all of a sudden someone went above my bid. It is a shame because he seemed like a good guy in the past but I guess greed will get the best of anyone and they would rather get a lot of money instead of being honest in the way they said they were going to do the auction. Some of my bids I would think would only have lost if he told people to bid again because they didn't go above my bid. Other bids were definately way above what people would have and have bidden on ebay and I still lost those. I wish there was a way we could boycott these types of blind auctions but we all know if someone has the goods we will all try to get them. Maybe the owners of this site could ban blind auctions forever. All auction amount must be posted or auction will be removed. I guess I was not part of the few that got heads up to bid again because I probably would have stupidly gone higher. I am glad I didn't and now I can buy them from someone who deserves my money.

you mean you had a year that wasn't expensive for colecovision . You must have been sick and out of commission.

Yes I think it was someone here that told everyone they could go on line and get dollar general sale price on thanksgiving with free shipping. Pretty amazing and way better than fighting all the people at the store. Like I would know what that is anyway, another amazon christmas in the books, no reason to ever see a store.

I don't know about fishing game but a fish game I have always loved is shark shark from intellivision. It was a lot of fun eating smaller fish and growing bigger and bigger. Very addicting.
