This game is the only NES game I have actually ever played. Are you saying this thing really exists? Get me one NNNNOOOOOOWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!
-
Yes he sold all silver boxes so can't be from this overseas sale. This is the version I have seen before. Although I hardly ever see it so I am sure it will sell pretty well.
-
I don't have pictures but I have the silver box and silver label of Campaign 84 and Gust Buster. My version of Rolloverture is in the yellow box with gold label.

I love Utopia as well and am definitely anxiously hoping Pixelboy does this project sometime soon, However with what you are describing sounds a lot like Command and Conquer that we used to play on the computers where you develope bases and attack each other or the computer if you are a single player. Now that was an awesome game.

Should Team Pixelboy publish Star Force?
ColecoDan replied to Pixelboy's topic in ColecoVision / Adam
All I ask after killing myself on Gulkave and Pitfall II Arcade that you start giving us 5 lives instead of 3. Oh man those games are hard. But I still torment myself constantly trying to get better at them and I do get further and further each time I try. If this game is impossible though then I would say definately at least do something to make it a little easier. -
If you collect rare Colecovision cartridges...
ColecoDan replied to chad5200's topic in ColecoVision / Adam
Thanks a lot for sharing now I am going to have to pay more for these. -
We used to play this game for hours on Intellivision and when I saw it in collectorvision's list I was definitely happy. To see you are actually working on it is aweome. Unfortunately I can not help you with the cops. I know they always used to piss me off though

Looked through this finally and it is pretty cool NAID. 3 things though You don't have Yurkie's new controller the Smurf Rescue controllers in the list. Also Yurkie sold a few overlays for the Quest for Quintana Roo of which I am a proud owner of one of those. Also Collectorvision did make a limited release of CIB Mario Bros Rev A carts of which I believe duncantoml owns.

When the atari expansion is in the colecovision all processing and video comes from the actual atari expansion and uses nothing in the colecovision except the connection to the RF. So all you know is the atari expansion works perfectly and something in the colecovision doesn't.

I think the only thing that could top this would be a Mr. Turtle release. I always remember thinking about what the game would be like.

Problems with Mr. Do! on the Colecovision
ColecoDan replied to thomas3120's topic in ColecoVision / Adam
That happened to me as well with my pitfall II cart. Luckily I have the SD Cart and I downloaded the Pitfall II and was able to play it. -
which are the games I can play for Colecovision ?
ColecoDan replied to ozma wars's topic in ColecoVision / Adam
Here ya go you sound like a guy that would want this. http://www.atarimax.com/colecosd/documentation/ Buy this thing and load the rom files of games you want on the SD card and you can play them on the real hardware. However you will not find Homebrew roms on the internet except for the ones included with the purchase above. You will need to actually buy those from the homebrewers or for the ones that are sold out you would have to try ebay or this site to buy them. Daniel a homebrewer has a website for his games and he lets you download the roms but no one else does yet. This is your best hope at what you are describing that you want. Also if you want complete lists of games just do searches on google there are websites that talk about all the released games and prototypes and some homebrew stuff as well. -
I doubt it hits a $1000. I mean after all it's only a cool box. May be the only significant difference is that it is Purple instead of gray. Personally if I where going to spend a grand, I would rather offer $200 a piece for some of the hard to get CIB games. LIke Jungle Hunt, Q*Bert Qubes, Spectrom, Spy Hunter, Up n Down ... $200 a piece won't get you many of those games unless you are lucky to get an ebay sale and not many people bidding. I offered $300 to someone for a CIB of Jungle Hunt and she replied I am not giving it away for cheap.
-
I didn't care about crazy otto at all now I think a hunt should be started so we can get the rom to opcode
-
cool, i didn't know you had so many games just lying around
-
Did you try posting an announcement for Ping-Pong pre-orders? I don't remember you doing so, but if you started a topic on it you might get the necessary pre-orders you need to release it in the complete package. You could put me down for one right now. he did a long time ago it might be worth doing new topic like the smurf game maybe things will get rolling. Unfortunately i am already in his small list of wanting the game so i dont count
-
I have sd card as well and would love ability to get sd version of your games however i gotta warn you that means I wouldn't go to pay the big bucks for the prototypes anymore

Team Pixelboy News Bulletin - January 1st 2011
ColecoDan replied to Pixelboy's topic in ColecoVision / Adam
Just got back from vacation. Games pulled out of Box. Big smile comes to my face :) Extremely glad someone backed out of buying Peek-a-boo so I could get it, now that I know my Nephew LOVES elmo he will go nuts when he sees it. My brother-in-law with his stupid Xbox and Wii can't top that Definitely looking forward to playing some games during this next week. It will be cool to see the new Pitfall II since I played the coleco game for the HSC a month or so ago and figured how to master it in basically 1 day. Kinda boring. -
That is awesome, I have never played it but I know I was always pissed at that fake coleco catalog and all the games that were never produced. Finishing off all the games in that catalog would be cool.
-
Some people told me timepilot was pretty cool using the roller controller but I have never actually tried it. Victory I think is meant to use with the roller controller. Omega Race was also meant for the roller controller.
-
I already have all the sunrise games tell him to go find the Bit Corp games!!!!

Pitfall 2 (Atari VCS) running on ColecoVision?
ColecoDan replied to Atari_Falcon's topic in ColecoVision / Adam
could just be bugs of them not correctly copying something from the Atari spec. Just like some of the emulation programs have problems running some games because they do something not exactly the same as the game system. This would be the same type of thing except back then there was no concept of a firmware update. I still think this is such a huge accomplishment that really doesn't get its due. Could you imagine Xbox coming out with expansion module that played all the PS3 or Wii games. That is the kind of huge deal this adapter accomplished. Then you have the rumors that they had Intellivision adapters in prototype status. Without the crash Colecovision could have become huge. Who needs to buy Atari and Intellivision if I can just get an adapter for colecovision. -
Pitfall 2 (Atari VCS) running on ColecoVision?
ColecoDan replied to Atari_Falcon's topic in ColecoVision / Adam
By the way there was another thread in Atari Age that talked about how original customers of the Atari Adapter had written to Colecovision and got a piece of plastic that acted like an extender so that all the supercharge games would correctly fit in the module without removing the cover. I wish I would have bought one of those games so that I could have been one of those people that got the extender -
A Present for AtariMax SD Cart Owners from NIAD
ColecoDan replied to NIAD's topic in ColecoVision / Adam
Then you'll be jealous to know that my cart came with 128MB SD. Son-of-a-&^%&^, oh well, I'll just have to swap out the 256Mb SD Card in my camera and replace with the 32mB SD that I got with the cart... so there! At least until the wifey notices that the camera won't store as many pics. Then you just tell her I don't know something must be wrong with the card and let her know that you will buy a new one for her so she does not have to suffer anymore.
