I don't know ebay seems to protect sellers that counterfeit pretty steadily.
-
I guess it would make sense that the price would go up since the CIBs have been going for close to and over 1000 bucks but just the cart has usually sold for around 100 bucks not as high as they want.
-
The key would be confirming the colecovision and the expansion modules work because that is where the bulk of your price point is coming from since most of the games are standard cheap games. A non-working coleco makes that price bad. FYI Ms. Pac Man is going to be an Atari game in case you didn't know that.

Opcode always makes a ton of copies. The only thing you missed out on is the special edition copy. I am sure there will be plenty of regular ones available.

Yeah but it is Turkey bacon so who wants that.

It still has the huge brick it is just that it is no longer part of the plug that plugs into the wall. It is like a laptop plug where it has huge brick in the middle.

It costs double for Inty weirdos.

Like his name, he definitely would be the happiest seller ever.

It looks like Cosmic Avenger to me.

"Modding" a UK/PAL ColecoVision to accept AV-RCA connection

your best bet then is to find a good electronics guy in your area and give him the info on how to fix things from threads in the colecovision forums. He should be able to fix your system if he is a good electronics guy. Of course unless it is a friend or family he might charge a lot. Wouldn't hurt to look around and ask though. -
Thats pretty cool never did that stuff. Although it makes sense. You found a way to get below the walkway pixels so it didn't know to make you fall. Pretty cool.

you two are way too patient. I remember as a kid swearing at the screen so I could play the game already.

Good luck to oscar and his family. As always in for all of them. -
Just FYI, everyone talks about auction stuff in the pinned auction thread at top of this forum which had people already talking about this so you know where to look in the future.

I think there is a time limit or certain rules in order to edit when you are not a full subscriber to the site.

Nice thanks, glanced over that part. Surprised a VP didn't get an earlier proto with the rare controllers. Especially since that high up he probably knew they were changing them out. I wonder what the other stuff is that he is going to sell. Would be interesting if the guy had some unreleased protos.
-
your tiny little game thought has become a super big game. Pretty cool.
-
I think it would be cooler to find out how the guy got one, if maybe his father or mother worked for coleco. I would be more interested in the story than winning the purple box.
-
yes you have to report item and choose correct 3 choices related to copy. However many of us have been reporting him and ebay does not care to protect its customers. It would probably take 1000s of complaints to trigger something in their system.

Mommmmm He is copying me!!!

I was going to say when I opened your picture of facebook that was J-F. Looks like he got the rights to make exidy games. Pretty cool.

"Modding" a UK/PAL ColecoVision to accept AV-RCA connection

I am not sure how many people actually look in the programming forum except for people programming the games. You might want to put it straight in the coleco forum. I know in the US there is Yurkie but that will cost a lot of money shipping unless maybe you don't ship the brick plug to save some weight. I know there are people in Europe that have modded their systems not sure if they are helping others or not.
