Hey all,
I'm trying to transmit something (anything really) to my jaguar via BJL to make sure it's working but I'm having problems and I'm curious if anyone knows what it's a symptom of.
I've got an old laptop with a parallel port and I've tried a few different things:
lo_inp colors.jag (or lo_inp -n colors.jag, or lo_inp -n -8 colors.jag) on Windows XP Home (locks up at transmit-lenght is 9426, can't move the cursor and keyboard is unresponsive, have to reboot)
lo_inp colors.jag (or lo_inp -n colors.jag, or lo_inp -n -8 colors.jag) on Linux on the same machine, again it stops at transmit-lenght is 9426, though I can ctrl+c to abort
lo colors.jag (or lo -n colors.jag, or lo -n -8 colors.jag) on Windows 98 on the same machine, stops at transmit-lenght is 9426, though I am able to kill it and try again
So I've tried both lo_inp and the original lo on a few operating systems with no luck. I'm wondering if the point it stops at points to anything in particular - is it a bad cable? bad parallel port settings? something else?
Any help would be appreciated...
