  1. Here's my latest video. I didn't buy a ton of games this month, but I did snag some great ones. Check it out. http://youtu.be/fPdakAesWUY
  2. Mercs - Genesis Metal Slug X - PS1 Street Fighter Alpha 3 - PS1 I picked up Mercs recently, enjoyed it, but it reminded me of Metal Slug, so I had to play one of those. Then, since I had the PS1 going anyway, I fired up SF Alpha 3 which is actually an excellent arcade port.
  3. Cool thread. But I believe the Atari VCS beat the Xband to the punch by about 12/13 years with the Gameline.
  4. Free is the best price of all. Seriously though, all those first party SNES titles have skyrocketed in price, so you've got a small fortune there. I agree that Zombies is the funnest title of the lot, but NFL Blitz and Tony Hawk 2 for PS1 are fun as hell too. Personally, I would cast Yoshi's Island back into the depths of Hell from whence it came.
  5. I'll admit that I don't watch much of his videos anymore, but from about 2007 to 2011 or so, I watched him religiously. He's definitely very talented. I really enjoy his monster movie videos as well. He gets a lot of undeserved hate in the different gaming forums.
  6. Here is part 2 of my April pick-ups. It is Sega and PS2 heavy. There's definitely a few beauties. Enjoy. http://youtu.be/UhihfYcxV64
  7. 2600 (4 switch woody & black Vader) NES Power Base Converter Sega Genesis (models 1&2) Sega CD (models 1&2) Sega 32x SNES (model 2 & a Gameboy Player) Sega Saturn PS1 (mini) Sega Dreamcast PS2 Xbox (no cords or games right now) PS3 (model 2) GBA (clam shell & micro)
  8. I've always wanted a Neo Geo AES. It's just too expensive for me to collect for though. At some point I'd like to get an original XBox modded to play Neo Geo roms. Of course I'll have to track down a good joystick for it though.
  9. Well, it was an improvement over those Tiger handhelds.
  10. I'm glad it worked out. Now go out and get some more Genesis games for God's sake!
  11. I agree with Reaperman. If you sell off part of your collection, you will most likely come to regret it. If you find that you like certain consoles more than others, then focus on them, but don't get rid of the others because down the road you may want to play certain games for them. Selling them is just instant gratification and eventually the money will be gone just like the consoles.
  12. I love when news producers exert some creativity instead of the same old same old. That's great.
  13. You may find an answer in this thread: http://www.sega-16.com/forum/showthread.php?22027-Sega-CD-systems-repair-thread
  14. ^Sweet GC. That's got to be rare, I've never seen a proto/testing unit like that before. Here is part 1 of my April pick-ups. There's a few VCS titles in the mix this month. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoP1AmzS03s&list=UUeXNWV2GKIbAPfSdW8E0-iA&feature=share
  15. I haven't played any Need for Speed games since the 3DO. Maybe I'll check out one of the current gen offerings, thanks.
  16. Outrun C2C is easily one of my favorite PS2 games. Sega makes the funnest racers. I love the Daytona and Sega Rally series on the Saturn and DC as well. Rally Revo is a lot of fun on the PS3, but I wish they'd put out another Outrun title. I'm so tired of all of the kart racers and boring simulations that proliferate the modern consoles. The only non-kart modern racing series that focuses on the fun factor is Burnout. But I want my slipstreaming, dang it!
  17. You're right, man. I apologize for the quality. I'm trying to make improvements each time I make a new one. The next one will be better, I promise.
  18. This is my latest pickup video. March was definitely not as good to me as January and February, but there were a few goodies. [Video]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sUnbRDvsihg&sns=em
  19. This worked great for a while, but now that name changing popup is back on youtube. They got wise to your cunning wiles, Random Terrain.
  20. I really liked part 3. Not only were Mike's Kaboom skills impressive, but his explanation about becoming immersed in the game hit home for me.
  21. You and me both. BTW, That's AA's very own Bohoki. http://atariage.com/forums/topic/213727-atari-5200-cartridge-organization-methods/
  22. I've never seen him advertise PAL in any of his pics, but that doesn't mean he doesn't do them. I believe he's done some custom work for guys before. This was his official 32x thread, it hasn't been updated for a few years though. http://www.sega-16.com/forum/showthread.php?13407-32x-End-Labels&highlight=labels
  23. This is amazing! Great work, Bob!
