He's been MIA on the other gaming sites too. Fortunately I was only burned for $20 myself (32x labels). Paid in April, no labels and haven't heard from him. I think that eventually he'll come through though. He's had a history of unreliability, but his stuff is very nice, and he usually comes back around after a while from what I've seen of him over the years.

I don't really understand why they would want to do this. It's not like they are excavating dinosaur bones or ancient ruins, it's crushed multimedia from the 1980s. It just seems like a massive waste of money and resources.

Free bump for your avatar. For my money it doesn't get any better than when she sings "In Heaven" -
I didn't even know this existed. You ought to post this on nintendoage. I guarantee you'd find a buyer over there.

I do not. Could the power be the issue? I plugged it into the console in the dark so I could see the blue spark. It definitely powered on.

I tried about 5 or 6 carts and the same thing kept happening. At first I thought the carts were the issue, so I cleaned a few of them with rubbing alcohol, but the screen kept showing the same thing.

Hello all, Long time lurker, first time poster. I recently got my old woody out of storage from my parents' basement and when I hooked it up and fired it up, the screen showed black with a thin blue vertical line along the left side. I opened it up and checked the board. Everything was connected properly and there was no cut in the rf wire. I tried adjusting the small circular white tuner on the board, but nothing on the screen changed. Has anyone encountered this problem before? Is my atari fried or is it fixable?
