seriously, at this point if someone came here with a story that he sold someone's stuff on ebay, the person got pissed and went and chopped him up into pieces that i wouldnt bat an eyelash. he's outright fucking members of the community now, so whats keeping him from being banned? i know some people would probably enjoy seeing him come back here and post again in the future, but i cant help but feel like he shouldnt be allowed back here. not like his reputation wouldnt precede him and protect people to a degree, but this guy has shown us again and again new levels of scumminess. to willie, if i were you, i'd seek legal recourse while this is fresh. if someone doesnt stand up for whats right, i can see him continuing to screw people over. i think the only thing that will stop his ways would be someone taking him to court.

its a fact that a considerable portion of people here have dealt with mike over time just the same, i mean thats a lot of different degrees of favorable and unfavorable opinions people would have from him. you're going to get that. i think thats reasonable and expected and this isnt some stranger. but i find it hard to say that as people have asked him more and more questions here that he's ignored that his position in people's eyes can stay favorable if he keeps posting. what i said a few pages back about him, theres just more evidence of it with every post he makes. he has nothing to gain by posting what the deputy district attorney of the grand theft auto unit had to say here other than to publicly make himself look less accountable for what happened. and its how he's choosing to do it, because all eyes are clearly picking up whats being put down here. willful ignorance only gets you so far...in all of this mess.

the ironic thing is that he will return to crowdfunding again for the 3rd year of the magazine, and has no choice because of the amount of debt the magazine is in. think 3 to 4 decent used cars kinda debt. if you have to return, yet again, to crowdfunding options when you cant make the people who funded it the first 2 years happy..well, who is gonna fund it at this point? if he went to the crowdfunding platform for it, why is it in debt in the first place?

i know the people who did this and i can say for certain that its just how they said it was, to just get a rip to california..the girl and the witness played in a band called teeth mountain. they had to make up something messed up enough so that they got on the show. i think this would certainly fit the bill as well.

you never get a straight answer with mike kennedy. he's the type who would rather let his actions speak for themselves, until he's at the zero moment where he has to fire up the bus and put it in reverse. then it doesnt matter at all who's standing behind it.

lets be straight up, this thread has always been about exposing mike kennedy for the scam that he is. the words he has to say now, they mean less than nothing. his sentiments and actions from the last two months show us how scummy he is, and unfortunately if we want the truth, it requires proving it. not with deductive reasoning solely, but this is what it comes down to when we're talking about a man who cannot keep his lies straight, a man who wishes to throw every single person to the wolves that he can, all to retain a shred of false dignity. i hope thats workin out well for you mike. your magazine will not make it to the 2nd issue of the 3rd year now.

exactly. this thread serves as a warning for people who may choose to do something as innocuous as even pick up a copy of retro magazine at a bookstore. this guy still cant be bothered to do good business with people even with that. instead, he went on vacation and i guess it shows in the mag the effort he's gotten used to putting forth. i went to the fb for retro mag just now, and he's still deleting comments there where he is shilling issue #11. but theres certainly still comments showing from really pissed off people who never got their copies of the mag or just arent into it. if mike has time to prune this fb account in such a manner at this point, leaving (most likely) honest criticisms and leaving supports of it unhappy, well it speaks for itself how he feels about this hobby. that $10k that he allegedly got ripped off for, its not anything compared to all the people he's snookered at the swap and flea markets.
