  1. Hi all been away for a year. I like this thread. I originally posted my findings, that I like the feel of the mouse. It works easier for me and seems to move better as I play certain games. I really dont care how this works at the digital level. I really dont care if there are people out there that invented the internet, to tell me I am using it wrong too. Every commenter on here just posted non-fun pokes at this thread as if they dont actually play the actual games. Since I am pretty busy at other things, it doesnt matter. I took out my A2600, and A5200 and played some games for about three hours yesterday, and even played Millipede with the mouse.. I dont want any more posts on this thread unless you tried to play the game with the mouse.. Did you like it, were you able to play it better that way... ETC ETC.. No more engineers and complainers, you're cramping my style. Rob.
  2. Godzilla, you gtf away from me.. JST GET TF AWAY FRM MEEEE>.

hi 8-bit guy.. Is there any chance you have the source to this? and if we could have a look at it. I would love to try to modify the source and make a new game from it. thanks.
  4. And Also, we could add a thumbprint identifier, so that only I can play my atari, It wont start up unless its me and it recognizes my thumbprint/
  5. OK, so this is all cool and all, but did you guys know that the cartridge port can pull 30 uA easy.. OOOPPPSS, now people are gonna start putting LED's in their cartridges. Hey that sounds cool, I wonder if I can put one in my Harmony cart..??
  6. Hey , the guy is just trying to bring his overall posts count up.. He's at 14 now.. give the guy a break.. I like the video on Atari history I saw on Youtube, much more information there. Watch the one that is all about Imagic. Each programmer gets a share of the profits. Atlantis sold 740,000 units so the programmer made a 250,000 bonus or something like that. Cool huh.
  7. case solved.. just need a new adapter
  8. Yep, it looks busted all-right.. There also two of your switches missing.
  9. sure. Just PM me with your info and email, and we can set that up.
  10. I dont get it, This is almost too fantastic.. This guy comes up with this crazy unit, and , to me, it is too good to be true. I am seeing him play the thing in a video, but ..I want a unit like this.. WT808, were are you.... All it is is a circuit board holding 4 original Atari chips and the rest are SMD?? and that controller board.. it is fantastic. AT least post the design criterion, so all of us with enough monies can get together and build this thing.. That's all I want....
  11. I have my video all done. Boy, is the quality pretty lame.. It shows me trying to play Millipede while filming the screen. I know, I get a low score at my youtube expertise.. But its pretty cool anyways.. it is totally awesome although I die pretty easy in the video, I can focus on the game and really do good, with the control of that mouse. Thanks all for checking out my post.
  12. well, if you have a need for me to check it out, those heavy sixers are rare, you might send it to me to fix, I can take just about anything in trade, even another 2600 that doesnt work, or a Atari 7800.. I wish there were some easy things to try, but my guess is that the Voltage regulator is bad,.. I would have to run some tests. Rob,
  13. Hey Back2Atari, I google mapped it if you need it I can pm it to you... Did you get that video fixed, I would add a composite out to it, I can sell you a small addon board I use to mod mine. Instructions are very easy... but if you want to go back to Atari headquarters, they are in ca, the old address is 675 Sycamore Drive, Milpitas.
  14. I can fix your heavy sixer as I have been repairing Atari consoles for 15 years.. or starting around 1995.. I was in portland and repaired a number of units for some reputable game shops up there.. or Do you need hints as to go about fixing it?. I usually can detect what is wrong in like 15 minutes.. If you would want to do the repair, I have an informative DVD I could sell you also..
