I agree. I actually started boxing up games I don't play often just to narrow down the choices. I felt like I spent more time scanning my collection for something to play than actually playing. I call it NetFlix syndrome.

I know the feeling. Sometimes I open up my gaming cabinet, look at the couple hundred games in there, and kind of glaze over. At that point I usually default to just playing my old favorites: Centipede and Ms. Pac-Man. Nary a week goes by that I don't play those two games on one system or another.
