    I've concluded the reason I haven't liked PC games for the past decade is because PC games since 2005 have sucked. Since rediscovering GOG and the late 80s and a few 90s/early00s titles, I'm in love again.

      I do, however, playing GOG games on modern hardware - the same games, only a lot more convenient. Best of both worlds imho.

    Sometimes I feel like it would be nice to be 13 again and only have about 2 dozen games to choose from total.

      I agree. I actually started boxing up games I don't play often just to narrow down the choices. I felt like I spent more time scanning my collection for something to play than actually playing. I call it NetFlix syndrome.

      I know the feeling. Sometimes I open up my gaming cabinet, look at the couple hundred games in there, and kind of glaze over. At that point I usually default to just playing my old favorites: Centipede and Ms. Pac-Man. Nary a week goes by that I don't play those two games on one system or another.
