Finally tracked down Final Fight CD for the Sega CD. Can't wait for some great co-op beat em' up action!

I live in an area where people have the mentality, "If it's old it's worth more" and it's also an area where no one knows anything about games. one time there was a boxed Combat with no manual for $150. he started bringing up saying it might be the last one in the box in existence. I told him I have 4 of them that are sealed and 2 boxed with the manual. I told him his prices were way too high. he got all mad saying that I was a stupid kid who doesn't know anything...

Maybe I'm just out of touch, but I'm not getting the massive appeal of Minecraft. Whenever I see my nephews and their friends play it, all they do is make buildings and other shapes out of the blocks. If you take the "Video Graffiti" mode of 2600 Surround, make it 3D, change the background into a green field, and add different-colored blocks, you've pretty much got Minecraft, as far as I can tell.

I just walked through Best Buy with mountains and games and systems all around me, and didn't feel the slightest twinge of desire. Modern gaming is dead to me, and it feels good!

Trying to come up with random misspelled items for a D&D campaign. Example: Potion of Heeling: Sounds like Healing, but when the player uses it their shoes become high-heels for an hour.

Can't wait for all this Back to the Future crap to go away. =P

Acquired Panzer Dragoon Saga today. Curious to see if it lives up to the hype. Nothing really can at today's prices I'm afraid. Still...happy to cross it off my collectors bucket list.

Irrational thought of the day: When shopping for board games online, I came across one from the UK. Briefly, I wondered if it would work in my region.

Well, my paycheck was in my account for less then 6 hours before it all got spent. $600 on grocery shopping, car and rental insurance, time for the phone, medical bill, and a few odds and ends. A week to earn it, a minute to spend it.
