An idea that I had based on the toys my kids like playing with... A marble run building game where you basically build a marble run in game. Then once completed, you can "be" the marble and go through the run (1st person style) like some of the roller-coaster builder games.
I'm thinking something like this:
At 1st I thought this picture was mousetrap, the game. It is not.
But... then thought... Mousetrap the game on Amico would be a neato idea.
Using the controller to try and guide the marble through the mazes to catch that damn mouse!
I could see some fun things from it... and yes, at the end you have to yell MOUSETRAP into the controller to win the game!

I'll be waiting! Ready when you are!You know... my specialty is fly fishing... What I should do is get you out on the river this summer and do some fly fishing and interview as we fish.
Some rock hopping... I am catch & release so even a vegan can do it.
Of course we will camp too so we can shoot the shit at the campfire and really get to the bottom of what makes you tick.

🙂
I need a guy on the inside to get me a signed photo of John Alvarado and I believe you may just be that guy (dangles some vegan allergy medication in front of TJ).
LOL.
I do enjoy the in-house videos that Tommy did. Mr John Alvarado seems to be a cool bloke... like the rest of the lot. All cool dudes.

When are you going to have a video with Tommy.
Not a interview but maybe a staring contest, or you could take that "allergy medicine " and just rap with the man, man, or maybe you could play ping pong with him (like you hit the ball toward your camera and he has someone at his house off camera throw him a ball and he hits it) itd be great if they were two different colored ping pong balls to so it would totally break any kind of immersion right from the start.
Keep up the great work.
🙂
Hah! Love all those ideas.
If my internet was not so sucky... I would have done it long ago.
Unfortunately with satellite internet I am quite shackled to what I can do... so no streaming of video... no Skype... no VOIP... non of that.
I will come up with something one day though... and yeh... could include some vegan allergy meds!
hahaha

Hey @Tommy Tallarico maybe a game to consider down the road, and only achievable using the slick Amico Controllers, would be Tiddly Winks.
You remember that game?
We played it all the time in Rhode Island as kids.
I could see fun ways to do this on an Amico.
Simple yet effective co-op gaming.

Since many of us are locked in, social distanced, quarantined, or just can't get out... have a laugh, smile, and have as good of a weekend as you can. Thinking of all my Amico friends. Thinking of good days ahead and wonderful Amico surprised in October 2020.
Let us keep positive and good things WILL happen.

Idea for D&D... but note I have never owned an Intellivision so never played the original game...
how about for the multi-player version... other players can be the monsters... so one person is the hero... and other people can be the monsters.
That way your friends and family can go after you real-time.
Just don't be on the shits list that week with your better 1/2 or you are doomed every adventure.

7 minutes ago, Alpha82 said:For me the new trailer was perfect I thought that the games looked great they gave me a feeling I really haven’t had with video games strongly since the SNES thst started fading in PS1. My favorite thing to do with video games was play games with my dad playing coop games like Double Dragon, were my favorite experiences my dads fingers couldn’t stand up to games like Street Fighter very long and that and sports games became the vast majority of games to play together in the same room which to be honest made me pretty sad. I laughed and smiled through that whole trailer because I could see my dad and I sending hours together playing these different games, which flooded my brain with memories of playing games with my dad. I won’t be able to do that with him since he passed away but the chance to be able to create new memories like that is very exciting for me. I don’t care about graphics never have beyond the first time I started a game and said wow that’s pretty what keeps me coming back is gameplay if the game is fun to play that’s what matters.
I don’t care where the game came from Intellivision, Atari, Sega, Mobile, or some alien implanted the idea in some guys brain we know that even ports will have added levels new sound possibly even new art styles so that the version we get won’t be like any other versions out there if people don’t get that aspect of the system that’s been talked about since 2018 then that’s on those people.
yeh the video excited me... and like anything in this world, not all can be a perfect fit for everyone.
I see some real gems in the mix... a few I will still want to support the platform but may not really need, but that is OK.
Overall the platform is what excited me.. the people behind it.. @Tommy Tallarico seems a very genuine and passionate CEO and that goes a long distance for me.
I don't need thousands of games... I just need new ones every now and then to keep me excited and a community I can share the excitement with.
That is the winning mix for this kid and Amico has it!

7 hours ago, Tommy Tallarico said:I think of guys like @OEB_Pete or @AtariSociety who are always so upbeat and positive (like most of the folks in here) and think to myself... what went wrong in their lives to make certain negative folks shower so much vitriol for a video game system they've never played? I bet if we dug deep... we would end up feeling very sorry for these folks and would generally want to offer condolences.
yeh, I call it "teenage angst" that some folks have even when they are adults.
If these folks don't have some problem going on in their lives or have some turbulence, they feel off and not right, so they create that turbulence and suck others in.
Makes them feel alive I suppose.
I much prefer to just be me and happy... as in the end what matters is your own health and those immediate friends and family you love.
I share my enthusiasm to help make myself and those around me happy. I think being happy is the best cure for all.
Is one reason I make some silly YouTube videos... be High on life. It is a good thing.

Came here early figuring I would be 1st in line to watch the new video trailer from Intellivision and @Tommy Tallarico but appears that SOB @OEB_Pete beat me here. Appears he slept on the sidewalk all night to be 1st.
Don't ask where he is letting the lizard leak! 😂
Hope everyone enjoys the new trailers today!

Intellivision Amico - Tommy Tallarico introduction + Q&A

So many fun games... How about Operation! Using the controller to use tools to get to the funny bones. Would be a hoot!
Especially for us ADULTS that may partake in something before we operate!
No really... it is allergies and why my eyes are red!
